Top 30 2026

I believe this is our currently contracted Top 30 for 2026.

Could assume Taylan May will get upgraded, Douehi maybe a 1 year deal, Bud may stay at Souths and Hope might get a year as a back up hooker.

Regardless, as it stands (unless I've missed someone) we have 7 spots to fill for next year.

Hopefully only max 2-3 are for juniors/best cup players and we can bring in 3/4 external first graders.

I would resign Staines, also I like to keep IzaacTu'itupou as backup backs for 2026. Not much from NSW cup that's worth a top 30 contract in my opinion

If you watched the Tigers v Manly game I think everyone would agree we lack impact players- guys that have certain skills that are not taught- size, speed, leaping ability etc.

The club needs a few athletes added to the mix.

Speed is a big one. Taylan May should probably get another look. Tyrell Sloan adds speed. Jason Saab adds speed too.

Size...Isreal Leota from the Broncos is a big, powerful centre. David Fifita is a known quality- big, fast.

Lazarus Vaalepo from the Storm, Zyon Maiu'u from the Bulldogs...

Not saying EVERY addition needs to be an uber-athlete. But an addition of size & speed, just gives the club a different option to throw at teams.

Any of the Dev boys going straight into Top 30 or being retained for next year?

We should aim to buy Will Kennedy for next season and throw Bula into the centres, Viliame Kikau and David Fifita to top up the forwards. Those players would bring some much needed spark I reckon.
