after nearly five rounds im interested to see what people think the top 8 will look like after after round 26 based on these past five rounds. i know it will chop and change and probably never look anything like our predictions but after five rounds we are starting to get a look at the contenders and those who have next to no hope.

anyways ive used the nrl ladder predictor on nrl.com and came up with this:

1.Storm (40 points)
2.Dragons (38 points)
3.Tigers (38 points)
4.Rabbits (32 points)
5.Manly (30 points)
6.Knights (28 points)
7.Bulldogs (28 points)
8.Cowboys (26 points)

9.Brisbane (24 points)

16.Eels (18 points)

Storm will run out of steam, they're overachieving at the moment

lots of home games and on a high, but wait tiill the year rolls on and SOO comes around.

- will make the top 8 but not at the top.

You rate the Eagles Demps ???I personally reckon they will end up bottom four

Injuries will kill the Storm… so if they get by with few they'll be hard to beat.

The only two teams I feel will definitely make the top four will be Tigers, Dragons & Storm.

Other sides that'll be in the eight... Dragons, Sharks, Broncos, Knights, Warriors, Roosters.

Panthers, Cowboys, Raiders & Titans to just miss...

Souths, Eels & Dogs will finish far from the eight... they are ALL duds..

dragons
tigers ( but will be premiers ! )
broncos
dogs
storm ( will struggle in the second half of the season with soo and number of away games )
roosters
warriors
raiders ( too many good players to keep playing like bustards )

panthers
knights
seaeagles
titans
cowboys
sharks
rabbitohscum ( overated, overpaid wannabees )
eels ( woeful, inept losers )

if there was a proper home and away season with all teams playing each other twice then i would swap tigers and dragons.

Yessir, they also got a few injured so when everyone is back they'll go good.
I'm liking what I'm seeing from Foran and DCE.
Strong team all over the park.

Ballin > Friend (both of them)
4th best hooker in the NRL.

Agree on Titans for the spoon - they have been competitive and thereabouts every year, since their inception, but the honeymoon is over now. 2011 will be their reality check- hope I didn't just put a mocker on us for next week :exclamation:

Also in no particular order:

Storm
Broncos
Dragons
Tigers
Bulldogs
Cowboys
Raiders - when Campese comes back they will be a different team to the one runnning around now
Warriors - classic late run into the finals

Raiders are no chance I reckon…
Strong team with the exception of Orford.
Campese will take time to find form.
Dugan is the key for them, Blake Furgason is a terrible fullback.

I think it will take a few more weeks for injured players to return before you can gauge this yet. Newcastle, Penriff and ourselves are all missing valuable players on our roster.

Although I think I can safely say that Titans and Parra probably won't get close to the eight, they're both absolutely terrible at the moment.

I feel its easier to suggest teams who wont make it at this stage.

Canberra - just cant seem to put 2 sets together, and while they have a good frontrow, just seem to fallen off on thier run last year. I cant see them making it!

Sharks - have been travelling well, but I have a feeling last weeks loss will derail alot. They will win some, but they will lose more, so I cant see them making it either.

The rest are all capable…. I feel Melbourne and the Tigers should be Premiership Favourites!!!

Dragons - professional, experienced unit.
Storm - like or loathe them, they are all class, and no other side demolishes their opposition the way the Storm do.
Roosters - again, top quality playmakers, big forward pack, just have to play to potential.
Bulldogs - wouldn't write them off after two wins.
Tigers - we will do well, given our injuries, to finish in the top 4\. Hopefully we enter the finals with momentum and a full roster.
Broncos - Lockyer and juniors galore. Could well be higher.
Cowboys - Bowen back and Thurston with his mojo, these guys could be anything.
Sea Eagles - good side, hard to tell.

Rabbitohs
Raiders
Knights
Warriors
Panthers
Eels
Titans
Sharks

The way things have gone the past few years, there are always 2 teams finishing on fire and a couple of others fading badly. I wouldn't write any single team off yet, except maybe the Sharks, as Hayne, Prince, Mullen, Dugan etc could lead their team's late revival. Interesting to see how predictions change in a short time, or after only a single game.

dragons
storm
broncos
tigers
roosters
manly
bulldogs
cowboys

warriors
knights
souths
raiders
parra
sharks
titans
panthers

I reckon Tigers, Storm, Dragons, Broncos and I hate to say it Bulldogs will be in the top 8.

The other 3 could be: Raiders, Warriors, Manly, Cowboys, Roosters, Knights,

No chance: Rabbitohs, Titans, Sharks, Eels, Panthers

Dragons - well drilled, minor premiers.
Storm - even after all their losses they still have a strong spine.
Tigers - as long as we get some relief from injuries
Bulldogs - will continue to grind out wins
Broncos - May pip bulldogs and take forth spot.
Cowboys - will win their home games.
Knights - will be out to impress their new coach
Souths - Their forward pack will get them home

Warriors
Sea Eagles
Titans - may be the one to watch
Sharks
Raiders
Panthers
Eels

Dragons, Knights, Storm, Tigers, Broncos, Sea Eagles, Bulldogs, Parramatta

Semis

Dragons v PARRAMATTA
KNIGHTS v Bulldogs
STORM v Sea Eagles
TIGERS v Broncos

BULLDOGS & MANLY OUT IN ROUND 1

EVENTUAL GRAND FINAL:
DRAGONS/STORM V TIGERS

WE WIN….YOU READ IT FIRST HERE ON TRI'S POST!
