Touching referees

What is going on this season?

This is becoming a joke, nearly every week since rd1 a player has touched a ref and it's starting to look like the English soccer.
Now it seems for some players it's becoming ok (Cameron Smith) and some it's not (Adam Reynolds). Smith apparently only touched him "lightly".
So now the NRL are deciding on the whether to charge a player based on how light they touch the ref, is that it?
Like i said, absolute joke.

Get your act together and start enforcing the rule, make it clear that if anyone deliberately touches a ref they're fined and suspended for X amount of weeks, no excuses!!!!

Well if a Tigers player goes within a foot of a ref it will be deemed a touch. 3 weeks. lol

Seems the same if they go within a foot of an opposing player too. They think it should be counted as a tackle

The refs are sick of touching themselves, they look forward to it….

The NRL has no guts, hasn't had for quite a while, they need to release a statement saying the next player to touch a ref deliberately gets 5 weeks and then take it from there. It is not fair on bush referees etc who would be copping more than just a brush of the arm from meatheads in lower-level and bush competitions. The NRL just turn a blind eye to every problem and hope that it disappears yet they most certainly don't turn a blind eye to the revenue they make out of RL.

Surely you didn't expect the Leagues favourite cheat to be treated like a mere mortal,

We can send a message to the clubs to tell them that touching a Ref is going to have a serious penalty, but I think it also had a condition concerning Smith , and of course our little kneeing expert, Billy and little( my Village is on fire" ,) Coopsie, that as usual, they can run their race without any problems.

cause the NRL are a piece of….poo. No sacks, no guts.

This popped up on my facebook. Think it sums it up nicely.

This is easy.
Who-ever touches a ref, automatically goes to the sin bin for 10 min.
regardless of who they are.
The bunker checks it, and when confirmed straight off to the bin.
If you do it more than once a season, then you have a rest for a mandatory minimum, 2 weeks & additional 2 weeks each time after that.
It will stop very quickly
