Training heats up
Wests Tigers players today sweated it out on the training paddock on one of the hottest Sydney days on record.
With the mercury expected to reach 43c in Sydney's west, training was moved forward to avoid the worst of the midday sun.
Wests Tigers Football Manager Tony Carson told the Wests Tigers website that the hot weather led to a change in schedule.
"We moved training forward an hour," said Carson.
"We've put the field session in the morning to beat the worst of the heat and the players will move inside to complete training as the day goes on."
The players still sweated it out in the morning heat, with coaches John Skandalis and Steve Georgallis pushing the players hard on the second day back from the Christmas break.
