Maybe this is what was needed for them to work out that there is no place for him in the 17.Is it bad to be happy that tamou will miss a few games lol

Yeah, all congregated around the middle leaving the edges vulnerable.True - I also enjoyed seeing more playmakers on the field at once, as opposed to last year where we liked to field 13 props 😄
If you watch his highlights reel especially the game where he gave Panthers fullback Edwards the big don't argue to score you'll notice he's well balanced when running with a fair bit if toe. To'a I intentionally didn't mention as we just haven't seen enough of him yet but there was one moment he got the ball and blasted past Momo which made me think - wow we might actually have a speedy/punch/decent sized back. I don't think he will be starting round 1 unless injury happens.
After last nights trial.I have the impression that a few players and especially the younger ones could be 1st grade NRL players regularly if they can stand up to the rigours of the game....If you watch his highlights reel especially the game where he gave Panthers fullback Edwards the big don't argue to score you'll notice he's well balanced when running with a fair bit if toe.
He's solid in D and really looks like a football player.
He has an aura about him that reaks quality. I've been watching footy for over 40yrs and I believe I can pick a good player when I see one.
Normally they stand out like dog's b.
It's a big call but watch this guy force himself into the side.
Downvoted no one like to see any players hurt, the game is tough enough as it is.Absolutely loved it. Shame he didn’t break a leg :’)
We might have "5 captains" but last night there was only one on the field and that was HastingsSo, Hastings finally donned the jersey...
Outplayed Brooks and Nofo... non event.
Captain material yet !?

I'd be surprised if we kept Liddle, only got one more year left on his deal and he'll probably want more opportunity elsewhere.

You know you can just angry face someone these days, thats the equivalent of a downvote without having to post your thoughts 😀Downvoted no one like to see any players hurt, the game is tough enough as it is.
Yeah it was the good version of him last night, running with venom and hunting for contact. He is probably a shot at the 17 with Tamou likely to be suspended.I didn't get to watch the game did Musgrove impress is he pushing for a starting spot?
I would say he definitely earned a spot in the 17. Had some good aggression with his runs and defence. Only 1 error from memory. I think it will be Twal and Stefano to start with Musgrove and Mikaele off the bench in Rd 1.I didn't get to watch the game did Musgrove impress is he pushing for a starting spot?

Ennis is an absolute disgracace of a human.Ennis carried on like it was as bad as the Hoppa hit on Keith Galloway back in the day. Ennis is an absolute dribbler, cannot stand him at the best of times but in commentary he is diabolical.
Maybe if Walker learns to not ponce about and ballerina himself 3 feet into the air after kicking, ala Mitch Moses, then he would've got hit waist-high last night. After his poxy game-ending run last year where he ran half the length of the field backwards to run the ball into touch he deserves a beat-down.
Funny how Tamou gets suspended but Collins got off for his cowardly tackle on a held opponent. Hopefully the goober cops a tackle like that himself soon👍.
Seems that the match review Muppets can't remember Seyfarth having his season ended last year for a similar coward tackle. Rules for some and rules for others in this comp😡.
He was so far up the roosters coit last night it wasn’t funny, the way he went on about Joey Manu every time he touched the ball was a jokeEnnis is an absolute disgracace of a human.
I do t forget his antics on the field back in his day.
Seyfarth played in the 2nd row on the edge in both trials..may point to how he will be used given our lack of options...I hope Seyfarth is one of the first picked. I'd have him ahead of everyone bar Stefano and maybe Twal.
If Lindsay Collins wants to play the game like he did last night with his coward tackle I just hope he cops one like that in return in the coming weeks. That was piss weak from him and deserved retaliation IMO.Downvoted no one like to see any players hurt, the game is tough enough as it is.
I agree. I love what Seyfarth brings to the side. I reckon they might play him in the 2nd row off the bench if the trials are an indication to go by. Seyfarth, Musgrove, Mikaele and either Peachey/Ofahengaue (the other one starts at lock). If not, I would pick him ahead of Mikaele.I hope Seyfarth is one of the first picked. I'd have him ahead of everyone bar Stefano and maybe Twal.
Doesn't surprise. Shame he couldn't muster up the effort to go watch his own teammates play last night. Gosford or not.Blore braving the weather to support his boys.... at Penrith.
