Yep, he’s been one of the best on ground, and while that might not say much, they have been targeting the left edge.

I tend not to worry about trial form but my concern with tonight is that we look like a side that makes the same old mistakes.

Biggest concern is dummy half. Matt's really struggling at the moment. His service really puts players under pressure.

Definitely watching the same game you are. He simply does nothing to spark the attack and is usually non-existent in defence. Now I know the issue is the RHS, but the fact this bloke still manages to start after 3 years of poor performances is a joke. He should be in England by now. We can't continue to play these second rate players and expect results. MWZ, Nofoaluma and Naiqama consistently being selected in the top side after strings of poor performances really has me confused as to the extent of Tui's situation and the way he was so suddenly dropped after a decent performance last week. I think the whole "bus" cliche has gotten to IC's head TBH.

No they think they've made the side and have put their feet up. I just hope it's because Ronnie has been smashing them and they need to taper off

Like i said last week, you can't even count the Cowboys trial as a trial, they continually handed us the ball.
This is a different story, it's amazing what happens when you play a team that is in control, we look like high school kids.

I understand it's a trial, but we're way off in every aspect of the game.

In fairness the sharks are really playing there best team excluding Gallen…. obviously that was a poor 40 but Cronulla are solid and we’ve just been flat footed, I expect a big 2nd half

Negatives

Brooks has been poor regardless of the service.

Our service has been shocking

Our edge defence also looks poor

We look so lost when we come up to attacking position, as I’ve stated we lack that X factor in attack and I can’t see how we’re gonna score tbh

Positives

Corey Thompson imo should be fullback come round 1, playing a good game

Ben Matalino looks like he’ll be a good asset for the upcoming season.

Esan masters attack on the ball is so dominant
