STEPS TO MAKING AN NRL TEAM CROSS THE NULLABOR
STEP 1...Find dysfunctional, broke club with large junior base
STEP 2...Lend them money to survive - many strings attached of course
STEP 3...Introduce a board with no Rugby League experience but plenty of saying 'yes sir' experience.
STEP 4...Have them hire a slow, desperate coach who will do anything to say 'yes sir' to the board, who in turn continues to say 'yes sir' to the NRL, because it looks good on their resume's.
STEP 5...Destroy the club's 'likeability' by having all of their best players leave, and subsequent anchoring to the bottom of the ladder for years on end, destroy even the most ardent fan's resolve
STEP 6...Once the club finally implodes, offer them a trip to Perth (or similar such new frontier) as their only means of surviving
STEP 7...Deploy large nursery of young talent to other Sydney based clubs.

These are the administrative 101 rules in how to destroy a club and have the blood left on other people's hands. Hopefully the other, stronger managed and financial clubs, will continue to stand their ground and push back against the evil empire. Alas, it is too late for the Tigers.
