'True supporters'

I'm sick of seeing people say that true supporters don't say anything negative about their team. And of you do say something negative you arent a real fan.

what the Tigers dishes up tonight is inexcusable. I don't follow rugby league because I have nothing better to do, I follow it because I'm passionate about it and love my tigers. but support is a 2 way street. I support the tigers and as part of that I see them as representing us, the supporters do when they aren't playing the way they should that isn't just a reflection of them but of everyone who has anything to do with the club. I don't pay to be a member because I found the money under the couch so I would like something in return.

I know it isn't disaster stage yet but for improvement to be made questions have to e asked and supporters have every right to ask these questions.

Agreed. I have been staunchly defending the side for the past 3 weeks. They copped a lot of criticism that was unwarranted. Injuries have been cruel.

However that tonight was disgusting. We have lost our way and that is a huge worry. I am heading up to Sydney again next weekend and will do my job at the souths game.. Will this team do the same?

100% agree with both of you. I've been a Tigers supporter for over 40 years and I'm absolutely gutted tonight. The crap they dished up out there was embarrassing. When they play well I'll sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. Likewise when they play like a bunch of B Grade sheilas I defend my right to express my disgust.

I'm not a member due to being a father to a 2 yr old & will also be overseas for 6 weeks during the season but I'm just as passionate & love my tig's just as much as the next fan.There are just to many questions & not enough answers.Why have two backs on the bench?Why play Miller & not let him play 80 mins only to be replaced by Meaney ( who in my opinion is not up to first grade standard ) Why are we carrying players that have been poor all year (Ayshford,Groat & Moltz)What's wrong with our forwards?Why is our discipline so bad & why haven't we shown any improvement?Why aren't our players following the game plan?Why wasn't big Willie signed?

Benji wasn't great, but even Cronk would struggle behind our pillow forward pack. Especially with concussions two weeks in a row.

I think we are all true fans just sick of the rubbish our great team has been producing . I guess we expect alot more from the boys each year cause we know they are better than this .we love them when they are winning and we reach for the biggest knife when they are losing . I was jumping out of my skin waiting for the season to start tell everyone tigers 12 lookout now I'm trying to find another skin to get into to hide . Plus I have lost to many cartons this year can't afford to lose many more lol

Why do we even care? 2 years in a row we have started poorly, or at least had atrocious runs of form, and then when it mattered were a serious threat to the premiership. "True" supporters, or being negative/positive, it doesn't matter. History is just repeating itself again.

I was honestly expecting some run of poor form early on, remember Souths in early 2010? Remember losing to the Roosters in the CORRESPONDING round last year? All the same issues, lack of defensive cohesion, playmakers all over the place, lack of discipline, apparent unhappiness in the squad. This is legitimately happened 2 years running and led us towards being a hot favorite 2 weeks outside the Grand Final, so are we really shocked to see it happen again?
