I heard from a friend who is a fan of parra that Tuiaki has signed for them next year.

Here is the article from their fan site http://www.1eyedeel.com/forum/topics/tuiaki-signs-with-eels

Does anyone have any information on this?

I asked Bryce Gibbs on Twitter regarding Tuaki siging with parra and he said he has signed for 3 years.

I saw this on Twitter also, and thought straight away it was a gee up once I read 3 years???

Yes, but Bryce also posts Wayne Cousins phone number on Twitter and tells Danny Weidler that Fults house burnt down so I'd take everything he says with a grain of salt.

I get a good old chuckle reading about his exploits on Twitter.

They'd probably pick Tui up on the cheap, but I'd like to know how they can afford Cronk.

I know for a fact Haynes contract is heavily backloaded. They've released Kris Keating, Inu and Mateo & Cayless is going this year. They've signed Poore and Shackleton. They've upgraded Burt and Mortimer. They've still got Hindmarsh who would be on a pretty penny. Cronk would be asking for around $450,000 a year.

If they signed him, between himself, Hayne & Hindmarsh they'd eat over one quarter of the salary cap. I swear Osborne must be using the same calculator as Brian Waldron…

Well, nobody is going to pay top $$$ for him in his current condition..probably some form of incentive contract wld make sense contingent on his full recovery.
And the only way Parra wld have picked him up "on the cheap",after all the loyalty weve shown & rehab invested in him,& understanding of his injury better than anyone else,is that weve come to the conclusion he's finished.
I hope neither are true

Last I heard was that the Storm board has told Parra to bugger off and leave Cronk alone as he will not be going anywhere. He is under contract at the Storm for the next couple of years and they will be keeping him.

Parra have some money to spend - they've lost Inu, Mateo, Keating. Some decent coin there, they have enough to throw big $$$ at Cronk.

Anyway, they have a press conference at 11 today.

If it's true i can understand our position on him. It does baffle me if it is a 3 year contract though. It would have to filled with injury related clauses you'd think.
