Tuimoala Lolohea Signs with WT

Don't get too down on Lolohea, it's not his fault. The Tigers have made an offer to him and the Warriors, it's the club that won't release him till they have a replacement for him. So until that that time we just have to sit it out. Like they have reported today, they have signed Zac Santo from the Raiders .. 10 days for the cool off period, then we can expect to something in writing that he has either declined our offer, or he has collected his bus ticket and on his way across the ditch to the Tigers.. !!

1\. Tuimoala Lolohea

Playing fullback and scores a decent try as well.

Neither Canberra or the Warriors have announced the Santo move officially. According to my reading of the NRL rules, the cooling off period applies to all contracts signed by a player. My interpretation could be wrong so I'd be happy to be corrected if anyone has better information. I'm guessing there are a couple of loose ends to be tidied up and, once that happens, Santo is off to NZ and Lolohea to WT. Should be soon as I can't imagine Santo or Lolohea won't waive the COP.

I'm just hopefull he comes before the Dragons v Tigers game because I don't want Rankin or JLJ to play. He will be a very handy signing for us as he is classy fullback with lots of speed and has an alright kicking game. When Lolohea signs, all we need to do is find a centre/wing and second-rower and our 2018 team will be complete.

I know it is not Tui's fault it is taking so long, but the warriors are making this hard for a player I don't think is worth the mucking around for, hope I am wrong.
I think we could have turned our attention elsewhere, and at the very least it would have put some heat back on the warriors.

Lets be honest here, were buying an overweight reserve grader that cant even displace ayshford nothing to really get excited about.

Keep in mind that he's signed primarily as a fullback for next year, he's on only coming early because Mitch threw all his toys out the cot. We're not signing him to save our season and make a fairy tale finals push, Ivan views him as our fullback for the next two years (and possibly further). We've got nothing to gain by looking elsewhere besides going heavy on a Gagai or Ferguson, but that seems counterintuitive to Cleary's plan so far. As long as he's here for pre-season 2018 (which the Warriors have all but guaranteed) then it's not worth worrying about.

If where being honest, there is no real downside to singing Tui.

I think he has more potential than the player he is replacing and significantly cheaper.

Some of you guys deadset need a new hobby. I'm a fan of Tui, but jesus, he's not Thurston.

I reckon we should make a market on how fast the forum will turn on Tui if he doesn't walk on water in the first month.

Probably. He's going to need a pre season though to get the best out of him.

If LoLo cost the sort of money that was bandied around, and wasn't it for three or four years. ? He had better be a lot more than a reserve grader when he gets here.im not sure about the length of the contract.
For some reason the Warriors don't think he's that good, even at a lower price

It is Kearney coaching them. He is godawful.

Hope you're right.
