Tuqiri vs. Tuiaki

Assuming tuiaki maintains his form from 2009\. Who do you see on the left wing and who do you see on the right?

i have a feeling that if aysh remains in the right centre spot lote will go outside of him due to the matches they have played next to each other and allow taniela to sit straight back in next to rowdy

Yeah that would probably be best.

I want both on field at the same time.

Make it work - I dont care how.

Mckinnon @ 1 andMoltz of the bench for now.

wuth mckinnon, brown or moltzen we have 3 real qualty fullbacks and in moltzen and lui we have two real quality halfbacks.and we wont be that affected by origin i bet with robbie and maybe chris lawrence the only two to playone interesting question for me is who is our back up hooker next year.should robbie play origin.

The problem with our right wing at the moment is that while Blake is a good player, as we all know he doesnt often pass to his outside man enough. To be honest this hasnt been to much of a worry as its been beau out there  but Id hate to think Tuiaki or Tuqiri will not be getting good service. Its hard to say but if Tuiaki is able to regain full speed over the off season then Id stick him at left wing, if not and he cant get back to top speed then leave Tuqiri there for the time being.

Tui has to be at left wing. He has a right hand fend, he doesn't fend with his left. There is no reason Tuqiri shouldn't be able to switch to the right.

Also, Ayshford is destined for the forwards in the next couple of years

its amazing how many tackles he goes through in the centres and only missed like 2-3 a game.

My husband spoke to Beau Ryan on Saturday night and asked him the question of what will happen next year with Tuiaki back. Beau said most likely that Tuiaki will be slotted into first or second row leaving lote and himself on the wings like this year. Also said that Moltzen will probably start each game onthe bench.

Ahhh so now it's Beau Knows Team Selections, more likely wishful thinking from Beau.

but he is probably right…

I assumed we would see Tuiaki as a impact back rower.

However Latu should be on the right wing in front of Beau. In one game he showed more than Beau for mine.

I'm with you on that call regarding Tuiaki, although i think Brown showed enough in the final 8 weeks or so to deserve a spot on the right wing outside Ayshford next season.

Tuiaki in the back row would work, he'd be devestating on the fringes, if he can develop on offload he'd kill it in the back row, lets face it, with his leg injury he may not get all of his pace back.

problem is we need to replace a winger, we have quite a few decent quality backrowers.. Id like to see Tui on a wing if he can do it, he can always shuffle over to forwards if injury or something strikes.

If that was the case and Tuiaki is going to play in the 2nd row then I would rather young Sama Savou get his go at right wing. There is no doubt that Beau Ryan is not the best man for the job..

I really hope they don't move tuiaki to the 2nd row. In my opinion he wouldn't make the side if they decided to move him into the 2nd row. Even tuiaki at 70% is better than beau on the wing.
