Depends what you're into. As a fighter I hated Rousey. I disliked her so much I bought tickets to Melbourne to watch her come unstuck. It cost me a fortune and the seats were right up in the bleachers but it mattered not. I near wet myself laughing when she walked into the arena with that mongrel look on her face, pretending to be some hard as nails chick from the hood LOL…

Well Tait winning will get Rousey off suicide watch. Can't believe she sank as low as that. She has Taits measure and is likely to be given a shot. If she wins Holm will be penciled in and around it goes….

As for Conor...humble pie has been served and he was gracious in defeat admitting that he underestimated Nate's ability to absorb shots.

Diaz still can't contain his hatred towards Dana and the UFC, which I think is totally understandable. He and his brother get treated like dogs.

Rousey is a drama queen at the best of times, I think she may have exaggerated her mental state to make it more dramatic.
In what way do you think the Diaz's get treated badly? Nate got rubbed out for a year or so for using pot didn't he? His suspension was just as long as the one Anderson Silva got for PED's which is totally wrong.

First loss and she's all suicidal, feeling like she MUST have her mans baby, etc.

Went from a "don't be a do nothing chick" to, essentially.... a do nothing chick.
Really let her fans down.

She's been on a binge since.

Dana and his crew hate the Diaz boys because they are unconventional. They are pure fighters, not show men. When they are interviewed they give very short and sharp answers. They don't play the politics game, they don't suck up to their bosses.

When Nate won this arvo his post match line to the world was "I am not surprised motherf#####s" LOL. Then he used the post match presser to have a go at Dana. They have an us v the world mentality and they sincerely do not care how they are perceived. I wouldn't be surprised if Tom Hardy's character in Warrior was based on them.

As a result they get passed over for big fights a lot. One of MacGregor sledges to Nate was that he was a broke bum. It's not untrue.

5 years stryker? Bloody hell that is insane I didn't realize he got that long. No wonder they hate the UFC heirachy.
Would love to see Dana get sat on his arse by a disgruntled fighter someday, I would pay more to see that than a title fight.

He's had beef with several fighters.

He has a boxing background and although he looks chubby, he keeps in shape.

I doubt you'll ever see a fighter (employee) put hands on him.

Ronda always looks pretty meaty around the bottom half even when she is in fight shape so it doesn't surprise me that she looks noticeably heavier and bulkier.
Looking at the highlights of today I think a campaign should be launched to get Miesha's moniker to be changed from Cupcake to Motorboat…..spare me days! .......

I doubt any fighters would step to Dana for 2 reasons…
1\. It's career suicide. The majority are not wealthy men and far from rocket scientists lol...they are fighters.
2\. More importantly he is very connected, especially in Vegas. It could be a very bad move.

It's a Mickey Mouse belt for a decent organisation. Tyson Fury is the WBA "super champion" and Browne their champion. It's bad enough having different organisations having different belts without the same body having two champions…

He underestimated power…
His striking power, the shots that a stronger man can absorb and the power they hit back with.

Like he said, he'll learn from this. Personally I'd like to see him vacate FW and fight in his natural division of LW. People keep forgetting that he drops weight to fight in FW. If he trained and prepared properly for 160 I think he could be successful but he has to respect the challenge which he didn't do for today's fight.

Diaz's 5 year suspension got reduced to 18 months and time served. He's unsuspended in August.

It's strange how they have done it but I don't class this a mickey mouse belt at all. He is now the regular WBA heavyweight world champion. He is maybe only 2 fights away from a shot at Fury.
