Thanks for posting that. It re-inforced 2 things I've always believed:
1: Line-speed, and by extension, the fitness to keep it up, and;
B: The Bonco's were too dumb to understand anything Siebs told them.

Or Seibs didnt speak plain English often enough.

That was his problem. He didn't adjust his coaching style to his playing group. He had a well-seasoned playing group at Souths who could pick up just about anything coaches threw at them. Broncos were full of kids and meatheads.

That was his problem. He didn't adjust his coaching style to his playing group. He had a well-seasoned playing group at Souths who could pick up just about anything coaches threw at them. Broncos were full of kids and meatheads.

It's why Trent Barrett will fail at the Bulldogs. It's his way or the highway as he acted at Manly.
Todd Payten may suffer the same fate. It's good listening to him as he is way too candid, his focus is the Big D. By focusing on Defense he may get his team winning some games, suspect the Townsend move may sink him. Ofcourse he won't get help with the halves.

It's why too Anthony Griffin has done well at St George. He gets there is more to a coach then one direction. I am also honestly surprised he was at the bottom of the coaching barrel. If we lost Madge, Griffin would 100% have been the next person we should have tapped. Tough, gritty coach with a very high win rate.

Ultimately we can't be a one coach team. We can't just be Madge's idea. We have to build around the coach and let the coach do the week to week while we grow as Tigers.

At this point I’m a firm believer that Madge has to run his term for the playing group to come out the other side. The short term focus doesn’t work imo. Need to build from within rather than go to the market when your purse isn’t big enough. Melbourne is a prime example of developing all their marquee talent.
Pressure and enthusiasm from lower ranks is a good motivator. Something we have been limited of previously
