UNFORTUNATE: Players who never played

Josh Reynolds.

You'd have to wonder what Sutton must be thinking then…

here's a thought - does Reynolds still get his 25k pay-check for it though?

No doubt.
Sutton could probably slot into lock/second row.
Carney > Maloney
… I honestly don't know how NSW won.

Mitchel Pearce…body has been there a few times but is yet to play

Not at all a fan of Pearce but IMO he played better than your 2 halves on Wednesday.

Definitely! I think Maloney's presence in Origin really helped Pearce - they play well together. Maloney's debut was fantastic - he is miles ahead of Carney, who looked like a deer in the headlights during his Origin games last year.

Hate to say it, but I think Woodsy might end up being one of those unfortunate players to never play Origin.

Woods will definately play origin unless he gets a career defining injury and can't recover. He is too good not too.

And New South Wales were organized the other night. Queensland weren't. Pearce and Maloney outplayed Thurston and Cronk by a fair margin.

I didn't see it this way. NSW won it through the forwards. Pearce is lucky to be playing first grade let alone Origin.
