Attn - Grant Mayer - Wests Tigers require a exemption for the 2nd Tier Salary Cap as we have reportedly a kick-ass half back that need to get a taste of 1st grade. Please comply.

Whilst I am critical of Benji's decision to reneg on the final two years of his contract, and believe he has been very poorly advised based on what I have heard over the past week, he has certainly earned the right to finish up on his terms. I hope he plays well for the last month and a half of the comp.
But, what happens if he gets a serious injury? Are we responsible for his rehabilitation if he has asked us for the release?
