Can't even get away from the NRL there

When Adam Scott putted for birdie on 17 some one in the crowd screamed QUEENSLANDER

C'mon Adam finish it off

he's not just a queenslander Happy - he's like the rest of us too. Please don't segregate us - we already have enough dilemma with Wests & Balmain fans of here. I was born in New South wales but I love Queensland too - its also a part of me.
I mean when i go abroad - and someone asks me where i'm from - the common sense thing to say is "i'm an aussie" not im a new south welshman.
So you see - when I'm abroad and people want to talk about Australia Queensland is at the top of my list! I love my country.

He was born in South Australia and is an AFL raised lad. wasn't til his old man got a job at twin waters GC he moved to QLD. Fukit. He's Aussie, and on an international field thats all that matters. Cmon Aussie.

Well done to Adam Scott, he held his nerve when his mind would have been drifting back to last years British Open when he blew a 4 shot lead with 4 holes to go. Seems like a great, level-headed bloke without the ego of some of our best sportsmen.

Seems like a travesty that The Great White Shark wasn't our first winner of the Masters though, nearly every time he was in contention at Augusta some bloke pulled a freak shot outta his arse to deny him.

Amazing effort from a guy less than 12 months ago was being universally written off. Seems like a really good bloke too.

The big thing now for Adam Scott is how he will cope with the change of putter when the pendulum putters are banned

His big issue in the past has been the putter

Born in Adelaide? Sounds like a Queenslander to me.

I was only commenting what the crowd member said

Either the same crowd member or someone else actually does it again as Scott is coming out for the play off

Maybe it worked , he was pumped up , you could see he felt invincible /confident

Cabrera was a class act during the whole situation ,they have played Presidents Cup as a pairing before

So the QLD'duh spirit tries to claim a Masters Victory too?

I'm not saying that Lat , but I can't remember seeing him so focussed and so mentally strong he had the eye of the tiger

Usually he seems pretty relaxed and easy going , but not Monday morning , it was like he was hoping he could stare the ball where he wanted it

Anyhows it was a great victory and hopefully this flicks the switch for a few more , he is enormously talented golfer , who can match it toe to toe with Tiger Woods both mentally and phsyically

Guess what LaT ,I hope all of NSW continues to not believe in the Qld spirit and what the Qlder call does to lift the boys I'll happily win every SOO series until I die and get on here and give it to you Mexicans

Its funny , do you have same doubt for the Haka for the Kiwis and whether it helps lift them for the approaching game ??
