Sadly I am passing on news , that well known, and admired rally navigator, Fred Gocentas, lost his battle with illness and has passed away.

was very fortunate have have been a member of the rally team Fred was navigator for in the early 1990's, with Ross Dunkerton as the driver.
loveable character, gentle man, with great sense of humour.
spent many flights next to him, having an occasional drink. :laughing:
