Vale John Laws

Love him or loathe him, Laws was part of the old breed of arrogant broadcasters, just like Alan Jones.

Unfortunately, we still have people like Kyle Sandilands, who show little respect for others. Hopefully, the shock jock culture will end soon.

R.i.P

Some of the staff at My work left the work cars on his station so I was tapped in a few times.

Called up once and we had a disagreement.
A week later, he changed his tune and was pretty much saying exactly what I said, that he was strongly opposed to a week prior.

Funny guy, loved the last word.

I used to work with a bloke who always has Hadley on in the morning...it was tough.

Never listened to Laws, the old man always listened to 2KY

Going back a ways Stan Zemanek was good value...Liam Fulton used to have fun with him

One of the few personalities that could be swayed to change his mind if he heard a better argument..learnt from those experiences.
Was writing the cheques but was a bit of a fan boy!

Worked in the media for over 50 years and had Laws do many an ad for my clients while also having had a few lunches with him…. where people would fawn all over him so much that it was embarrassing (but not to him lol).
Many skeletons in th closet but you can never take away the fact he was most probably the greatest communicator we have seen.
Radio jock with the biggest head?
Doug Mulray by a country mile.
