Perhaps your mates should start working with WT and not against them Bug…

...And they want more than four games a year out there?

Maybe a more devoted presence in this area is what is needed.

Just like how WT spend every second day in Balmain

…...oh wait

I know i am a big supporter of having more NRL games at Campbelltown, but i still believe trials should be played in the country.

We want real NRL matches. Not trials

And when we sell out four games a year there you'll have a valid point.

Be that as it may be galahs, the Foundation Cup crowds of past years at the SFS have been between 8,000 and 16,000

Kul,
Wests Tigers spend EVERY day in the Balmain Rugby League district.

Oh wait …...

Make that about 350 days of the year, sorry.

The kids in the area should have been SALIVATING at the prospect of coming to this trial game.

Steven Humphreys and Tim Sheens efforts in this area are nothing short of a disgrace.

They were in Campbeltown schools all this week Bug.

You would think the people of Campbelltown would turn up if they wanted more games, but they simply don't.

This website continually has an anti-magpies and campbelltown stadium bias. Every year if there is a lower turnout than a leichardt game there is always a post about how poor the attendance was. Whenever a disappointing turnout for a leichardt game there is zero threads bringing it up. One thing to consider is that many inner city fans do not travel out west to campbelltown, whilst many families will travel to the SFS and leichardt from the west, as both provide great atmosphere and are enjoyable games. Maybe some fans need to embrace all our stadiums. Look at the statistics for attendance, the season averages are not dramatically different, and campbelltown tends to have plenty of Monday night games, which I agree are terrible to get to in campbelltown due to the terrible road that is the M5.

I would also point out that this is only a trial game. Whilst I love my tigers I am not going to attend till the real season starts, and majority of people are the same, as the trials ultimately mean nothing.

This bias can also be seen in the state cup threads where magpies fans are constantly belittled and made fun of just because they wanted an equal representation over the years of NRL squad players, yet BRET received them. This meant the magpies had a less than competitive team, whilst also having to spend more money due to paying for their entire squad. I do not want to restart this debate, as we are all sick and tired of the arguments, but what I do want to say you all need to lay off continually ripping into each side of the merger every time something immaculate doesn't happen. We are one team, move on people, and just support the club instead of belittling each sides fans.

Mate if you think children give a shit about what the suits are doing you need your head read.

There are two reasons nobody is at this game.

a) It's a trial and locals know they get more footy later anyway (hence the crowd at Gosford)
b) Roosters are the least supported team in the comp AND their fans don't travel

Agreed. There was a MASSIVE list of the schools that they visited on the WT site. I swear, if they devoted more time, they wouldn't get any training sessions in!

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU BLAME HUMPHREYS AND W/T FOR THE SMALL TURNOUT AT CAMPBELLTOWN TONIGHT.

Hybrid,
I find it difficult to lay blame on the half a million people who live in between Liverpool and Camden.

But I find it very easy to lay blame on Sheens and Humphreys for dismally failing to capture the hearts of the men, women and children of this area.

um, are humphries and sheens standing at the door not letting these kids in or something? i dont see how it effects these kids ur so worried about, infact it gives them more space to run wild about the ground without getting in peoples way. 5k for a trial is fine, get over it
