Sheens and Humphreys obviously :unamused:

Quote of the month Geo :roll

Now I've just got to clean up the keyboard because it has coffee all over it Thanks mate

Oh and the Jersey….It's Yellow :wtf ...this old Magpie is set in his ways

Sorry boys & girls, I apologise, I went past the ground twice today, my nephew was playing at half time and my wife told me I should go. I agree with others here, it was a trial and I'll be there when the 2 competition points are up for grabs. Go Weststigers.

Just returned from Campbelltown. Pleased to report that my car was still there after the game. Phew.

Maybe that's why people don't go to the games at CSS?

Of the crowd, almost half were Roosters fans.

You people just dont realise, there is a Major problem with the Wests Tigers and South West Sydney.

It has dramatically snowballed since Steve Noyce left Wests Tigers. The community out here dont feel the love from the Wests Tigers. Its not theory, its fact. Although official main game crowd figures has Campbelltown almost on par with Leichhardt, I fear that Steve HUMPHREYS drastic refusal to acknowledge the needs of the area and to put back itno the area is having tragic effect on all fronts down here.

His disgraceful support of Tim SHEENS decision to have all WT players play for BRET has spelled the death of Wests Magpies. The disgraceful 'visitations' of the Campbelltown/Liverpool area happens only in the pre-season and 4 times a year for the week leading up to the games we play here.

Walk down the main road of Campbelltown and Liverpool and you can see that the people are almost lost to Rugby League in what used to be a thriving Rugby league heartland.

How many people who live in Liverpool do you think know that it is Wests area for geographic Rugby League responsibilty ?? Ask them and the will either answer the Bulldogs or Parramatta. Steven HUMPHRIES is failing badly.

What have Wests Tigers done in the Liverpool area since HUMPHREYS took the reins?? can anyone tell me ??

Humphreys is a disgrace. Sheens will always be Wests Tigers coach because at least half the board will love him forever because Balmain BRET or whatever they call themselves will always get everything on a platter and Wests Magpies will always get nothing.

Wests Tigers need to put something back into Liverpool / Macathur constantly, daily, on a ongoing basis, not sparodically at the disinclination of Steven HUMPHREYS.

Can we seriously stop talking crap about Campbelltown? It's getting really old.

I've grown up in Campbelltown and have been to as many games as I can possibly get to regardless of the location. I remember leaving school early on a monday to get to games at LO, leaving TAFE and work early to get to games at the SFS, ANZ and Blue Tongue on a friday night, will be having the day off work to go to the rd1 clash at LO and intend to do the same for every one of our home games this year, regardless of the stadium.

As far as I'm concerned I don't rate LO as a stadium but will make the trip, put up with the lack of parking and lack of facilities and I'll do this because I want to support my team. It just seems to me that some of the old Balmsin supporters still have issues with the merger and can't be bothered to travel to Campbelltown. If all the old Wests supporters had that attitude then LO wouldn't get the numbers it does.

It's been said before but people need to get over it, get over the stigmas of travelling to Campbelltown and forget these stupid remarks about their hubcaps being taken during the game.

The reality is your team has 3 home grounds and I'm prepared to say if your not going to go to games and make snide remarks about the low attendance of games, your against everything the WT have tried to achieve these past 12 years.

It's time everyone gets behind their team regardless of where they are playing, not just supporting them out of LO or CSS.

I understand there are reasons why some may not be able to make it and whilst they may be valid reasons such as family, work and the like, it does not give others the excuse to sit at home when they could be at the game, then make stupid remarks about the low attendance.

Brilliant post,

In my opinion, the Moderators on this forum are the ones that generate the anti-Campbelltown, Anti- Magpies hatred.

Campbelltown is a great area. People should pull the heads out of their %%%% and fully support all of our home grounds equally.

This thread is getting blown way out of proportion…

Trial game people and its a Saturday night in Summer.

C town will be rocking in 2012 you wait...

The only people who have issues with the merger seem to be whinging Magpies fans, like the one who started this ridiculous thread.

As for the rest of your post, I agree.

Why are people jumping up and down over ONE trial game?

There may be a minor backlash by the old magpie faithful, but we should at least wait until we are half way through the season or the season is over before making any judgements.

I live in Campbelltown area and there has been NO mention of tonights game in Campbelltown at all. I have seen no promotion at all, maybe that is partly the fault of the club, but I don't think it's the fans fault that the crowd was so small tonight.

Issues with the merger? who mentioned issues with the merger ?? I mentioned the CEO's failure to have people embrace the best team in Rugby league. Seriously, Benji and Robbie are the best players anyone will ever see. Once in a generation players. Its a trial for sure, but surely more people should have been there to see these blokes run around. Every Kid in South West Sydney should dream of the wests Tigers when they close their eyes each night.

I have worked in the Campsie/Canterbury/Bankstown area all my life and the majority of the fans are absolute Bulldogs fanatics. The all wear their jerseys EVERYWHERE 12 months a year. Men women and children.

HUMPHRIES needs to have the people of the South Wests living and breathing Wests Tigers. All of us need to promote the team and the players and our love for them as much as we can to generate support and passion and pass that down from preceding generations. The development of generational support is very important. The development of geographical support is equally vital.

Jazza, this is what I mean. Its a disgrace. A huge disgrace.

It was a trial. Laying blame at the CEO of the Wests Tigers is a cop out, no two ways about it. Campbelltown want more games, well tonight they got one. Unless Humphreys somehow threatened thousands of rugby league fans in the south west of Sydney to stay away, I really don't see the point of this thread. It really is a poor excuse to point the finger at Humphreys yet again. And if it continues to spiral and become the vendetta which it appears to be, then it will close, or be deleted.

Your post doesnt doesn't even make sense you fool,
So what are you saying, people don't go to CSS because their car is still their after the game.

Tell me hybrid, how many cars have you lost at campbelltown.
Maybe if you pulled your head out of you backside and opened your eyes you wouldn't have to worry about miss placing your car.

Sorry hybrid, its not funny at all, to be honest most of us are sick of these comments about Campbelltown,
so go take your stupid comments back to where ever you come from, we don't need them on the forum

:bash

It was a chance for Campbelltown people to support their team, trial or no trial and the majority chose not to go.

If the game was played elsewhere the majority of the people their tonight would still have gone. The people I talked to came from the city by train, a couple came from Windsor and another group where from Gladesville. That's supporters !

Campbelltown people only have a short drive and still don't put in the effort. It's very disappointing.

I never meant for my post to come across as "Anti-Balmain". Ild be the first to admit some Magpie fans are anti merger but Im just sick of reading silly comments about cars going missing if you come to Campbelltown.

If I can find the money and transportation to get to and from games across Sydney (on apprentice wages) and juggle shift work to make time to get to games, then I'm sure others could make it too.

It just gets old hearing the same low jokes about cars being stollen and hubcaps gone missing.

If I can make it, then so can the other "die hard supporters" that browse these forums, but would rather sit at home and make snide remarks about the low attendance at a trail game, saying Campbelltown hasnt enough intrest in RL.

Get out here when there is 2 points on the line and Campbelltown goes off, you'll love it.

"You people"??????

WTF???

How dare such a paranoid and repetitive moron be so patronising to the 99%+ of fair minded people who read through your evident bias and the blatant flaws in your arguments!!!

As for your ability to rate players and knowledge of rugby league in general (that is so crucial to your credibility or lack there of when putting crap on Sheensy) - how did our "best winger" and that wonderful defender Reddy go tonight genius????

You actually had the gall to compare Reddy to Aysh (because you perceive Blake as a Sheensy "favourite")!

What a load of self-justifying and fraudulent crap you write!!

I was at Campbelltown tonight, conditions were perfect for watching rugby league. I sat in the western stand which was not overcrowded, the football was of a pretty good standard at times. I would have liked to see more supporters there but unfortunately, for whatever reason, there wasn't. Things will be different when there are two points on offer although it's unfortunate that they are next on offer at Cambo on a Monday night but as far as I know that's a foxtel decision.
