TEAM LIST Vs Dragons [round 18]

Team List
Injuries have played a big part as to why our team has slumped in performances over the last 5 or so weeks.

Doueihi last weekend was basically running around out there with only 1 arm .. he didnt look good at all .. !! Taylan May, Bula and Makasini also are also playing with 1 arm .. all 4 players need shoulder reconstruction surgery either now (season ending) .. or manage it as best as they can till the off season for surgery.

Our injured players at the moment:

*Kai Pearce Paul - Pectoral rupture - TBA/season
*Royce Hunt - Pectoral rupture - TBA/season
*Taylan May - Dislocated shoulder - season
*Samuela Fainu - Right foot - Rd 20 or 21

*Alex Twal - knee issue - Rd 18
*Patrick Herbert - Dislocated shoulder against Phins - TBA
*Adam Doueihi - shoulder surgery required at end of season
*Heamasi Makasini - shoulder surgery required at end of season
*Jahream Bula - shoulder surgery required at end of season
Jerome Laui - Concussion protocols - Rd 19

* That's 9 players in total who either have had surgery .. or need off season surgery .. here's hoping we get no more injuries or we might as well be turning up in the NRL with our NSW Cup Team.
Only players who haven’t missed time is Turuva and Pole

Dunno about that, losing Taylan cost us imo
Did Taylan cost us all of the knock ons ?
Did he create the lack of composure?
The inability to execute?
Did he miss the tackle that led to the match winning try?
Did he cause our whole football team to have low footy IQ?
Was it him not being there we didn't take a field goal in the last 15 mins ?

I could go on and on, we lost because we played dumb I'll disciplined footy and failed to capitalise on our massive field advantage thought the game ....

Injuries had nothing to do with it ......

So you comfortable that we have performed adequately and to the very best of our ability in every game we have lost this year ?

No .. we should have beaten the Knights last week honestly. Our performance have been awful since we started collecting injuries. Our depth really hasn't stepped up thought they would/could have. Yes we have a lot of talented young players in the NSW Cup which hopefully will help us in the years to come if we can hold on to them.

I think this weekends game against the Dragons will be the litmus test for us .. !! I really REALLY hope our boys turn up to play with a lot more determination and ball security and show the rest of the comp that we are still in this comp for the rest of the season .. fighting spirit lads .. dig in lads .. !!

Is surgery confirmed for Doueihi, Bula and Maka?

Agree tigers need to do better with what’s available
But when you lose players on both edges for extended periods
May and Faniu + KPP and AD, then throw in API 3 week suspension and SOO (debacle) + Bula + Twal that’s a fair hit to your team stability.
No doubt the team should have done better but what was created in preseason and early rounds was disrupted and non NRL standard players promoted to fail and create doubt to those around them.

Their pack has serious talent. Their halves however are dog tucker and they make Brooks and Wakeham look like Kenny and Sterling. Never seen two NRL players make rugby league look so difficult.
They cant score points.

We need +20 or +30 on our for and against from this one if we are any chance of finals. We are blessed to play them twice and COULD scrape back 60 points if we play to potential... who am I kidding...😂😂

When do we ever win easily mate

That’s incredibly short for a team with our form/ line up vs an improving outfit at home. I watched the Dragons game
V Canberra and really could have gone either way.
I hope we can win but I’m not 1.50 confident !
PS Let’s hope Star does another job on Holmes, maybe Benji should pull that Cowboys tape out for him to watch.
Never confident and these are the games we lose. Dragons have improved a lot. But for some dodgy ref calls they would’ve rolled the Knights imo, and they were close with Canberra also. They are due for a change of luck and another win is imminent. Who better to beat than a struggling Tigers team?

If we lose, or look on the verge of losing, at least one person in the live game thread will have a meltdown and claim we’re getting the spoon. Not realising, even if we didn’t win another game. 7 wins easily still avoids it.
Yeah but second last is a possibility and that would suck just as much 😂
