Just rewatched the game with all emotions removed. Some observations to take in (agree or disagree it doesn’t matter).
Tamou’s first stint was brilliant the best he’s played for us.
Tuilagi goes well but his lateral defence needs work.
Luciano was very good especially his defence. Papali‘I was also good and if we had been able to keep both it would have been the best second row combination in the comp.
if Twal could off load he would be up there with the top props.
Brooks tackle on Matterson was awesome and speaking of Matterson hasn’t he dropped in standard from when he played with us.
All in all great performance but still plenty of room for improvement

I think his teammates all saw it too well because they failed to defend the next play. I hope they copped a spray in video, a hit like that should be followed up with another one.

That was brilliant. So many big effort moments from our lads. The scrum win, Laurie belting queen G, Nofo winning the short drop-out off Lane, Brooks decking Matterson, etc. Long May it continue.
