Doesn’t look flashy or anything special but on a deal of probably less than a quarter than Reynolds this is one the clubs got right and should have gone in this direction Instead of the initial Reynolds signing. Good job. Good game at that too.

I'm prepared to wait and see on this guy. We've signed a lot of players over the years who didn't look much chop but became revelations. Guys like Blake Austin, Corey Thompson etc. And if doesn't prove to be anything, its 150k (ballpark) and he's only a stop gap. There's no downside to this at all.

My guess is that once the grand final is done and dusted there will be a formal announcement of what players are leaving and who is definitely signed. Until then its pretty much is what it is.

Ultimately I don't think it matters one jot. Who cares if Billy is announced tomorrow or December 10th, what difference does it make to fans for Round 1 2020? If he's signed, he will do pre-season training, regardless of how quickly we hear about it.

I can't understand some fans sometimes, who cares if Madge mentioned it on TV but there's been no press release? Isn't the word from the coach himself sufficient? You need the paperwork.

It's the same as some folks criticising the club for not announcing Robbie Rochow's retirement early enough. Seriously who cares, why waste energy on it.
