Have the opportunity to play touch against one of the Wests Magpies players! Todd Liubinskas is part of the competition.

Concord Touch Footy is looking for around another 20 people to join the competition.

It's completely social and is suitable for all ages. We've got people in the comp in their teens right up to people in their 50's. Each team is sorted out by the commitee and balanced to accommodate people from all ages, so for example each team will have say 2 people in their teens, 2 in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.

It's played every Monday night starting October 26 and will run til the 14th of March. For the next two Mondays (12th and 19th), there are warm ups, where it's completely volutary to head down and have a few practice matches to shake those cob webs out.

The comp is run at Greenlees Park in Concord, next to the Briars at Greenlees Bowling Club, which is less than a 5minute walk from the Majors Bay Road shops.

Games start at 6pm and 7pm. Once registration is complete, teams are sorted and the draw is released, so you'll know in advance whether your game is on at 6 or 7pm.

Registration costs $65, with a team shirt included. It's a non-profit organisation, so any funds not spent on team gear or equipment will be put back into the competition for things like BBQs and functions.

Plus, the bowling club is recently renovated and the beer at typical bowling club prices - $3-$4\. It's a very social atmosphere and most of the guys head into the club after the game to have a beer or two.

If you're interested in joining, call Bob on 0431 512 932.
