Wasn't as bad as it could have been...

Lets' face it, at least we were competitive at different times, but once again lacked the talent where it matters, specifically an organizing half. JB is in a class of his own, and it showed tonigh, best on ground imho, with Api a close second.
There are some players who appear to jsut be putting in an appereance...TT is one of them, and for the life of me I can't work out what Will Smith is doing out there.
Solid in the forwards with Blore and Seyfarth adding some go forward.
Lastly, the more I look at Sheens, the more I see a desolated, gloomy, disconsolate man..Surely must be time for him to step aside adn let Benji (where was he tonight?) take care of the rest of the season. If nothing else, to try something new.
Can't see how we turn this ship around to be honest. But at least we are not gettign steam rolled. Oh. wait..I forgot we were only playing the Knights.. ;-(

Only a Tigers supporter would start a post titled “wasn’t as bad a it could have been” that’s our culture as a club. Fair dinkum. Not having a shot by the way. Just a sad state of affairs when we look for any glimmer of positivity in what is back to back to back shite.

In another post, I stated that we are playing to limit the damage rather than a self belief that we can win. Reality bites. In any game that we play, until this season is over, only a miracle or a super human effort will win it. And by the way, I totally agree with you, but if we don't leave a flicker of a candle on, we'll be in the dark for a long time. What look like solutions to us, appear incredible feats for this club.

This thread is garbage.
That was an unacceptable loss.
We were facing a team scoring at 4 points at a time who had a bloke in the bin at a pivotal point in the game. It was winnable and bar some errors from our experienced guys, we could have got there despite the crap from our backs.

As for best on field…Bateman was dogshit compared to Bula. That boy single handedly kept us in that game and deserved better than all the missed tackles and dropped balls his team mates dished up.

i think the JB refered to was Bula.
but largely agree with your post

It was abysmal.
Shit Club is going nowhere with Sheens, Pascoe,Lee and the Board involved. He sacked Madge who did better with a weaker squad.
There isn't a worse run Sporting franchise in Australia.

It's only a "Results driven Business" when Sheens is not the coach,he got the bullet in 2012 for many good reasons but the cretins in charge decided to bring him back for an encore.
Eventually all Tim's bum kissers on here will be forced to admit that he is well past his use by date and we are getting worse under his coaching

With a weak halves combination like we have atm, we can't expect results to go our way. A Wakeham/Smith combo (gobsmacks me) would struggle to win a local A grade comp. Just a dirt bag roster with nothing in the pipeline.

I agree.

And to each their own, but personally, I think if it is "much more than just footy" to anyone, then I think they could do with a bit of introspection to reassess what's really important in life.

Mate, there’s some ppl here on this very forum who know a bucketload about the Tiges. Whether or not they could be hired and help turn this club around into a success I don’t know…
