Wasn't as bad as it could have been...

We have a few guys out there who have no idea what they are doing. Case and point: Asu Kepaoa. A high kick goes up, he chases, doesn't know where the ball is, lets it bounce, then Bradman Best runs away 30m. Just utter stupidity, and we've seen it from him before.
I LOL’d at that live. Didn’t make a difference that he was also about 5M too far infield.

Bradman was always running past him

Lets' face it, at least we were competitive at different times, but once again lacked the talent where it matters, specifically an organizing half. JB is in a class of his own, and it showed tonigh, best on ground imho, with Api a close second.
There are some players who appear to jsut be putting in an appereance...TT is one of them, and for the life of me I can't work out what Will Smith is doing out there.
Solid in the forwards with Blore and Seyfarth adding some go forward.
Lastly, the more I look at Sheens, the more I see a desolated, gloomy, disconsolate man..Surely must be time for him to step aside adn let Benji (where was he tonight?) take care of the rest of the season. If nothing else, to try something new.
Can't see how we turn this ship around to be honest. But at least we are not gettign steam rolled. Oh. wait..I forgot we were only playing the Knights.. ;-(
Let Sheens own the suck

Remember McGuire, we fired him half way in and went "whoops were missing a coach".

Remember Brett Kimmorley loosing by a cricket score? he was done, Sheens nowhere to be found.

Sheens threw a suck ball at Kimmorley, let Sheens suck a whole season and ruin any coaching legacy.

Benji can take over next year if he wants, but I wouldn't do that. IMHO we should get a temp coach to ride one more year with Benji as assistant.

In another post, I stated that we are playing to limit the damage rather than a self belief that we can win. Reality bites. In any game that we play, until this season is over, only a miracle or a super human effort will win it. And by the way, I totally agree with you, but if we don't leave a flicker of a candle on, we'll be in the dark for a long time. What look like solutions to us, appear incredible feats for this club.
Other clubs have turned their seasons around.
And generally this happens when an under performing coach is flicked
Sheens is doing way more harm than good and Tigers will continue to lose quality players and upcoming juniors while this ongoing coaching debacle of hiring poor coaches continues
And while your at it sack the board pascoe n hagi

Keep the board and review? Bring me in as a silent partner/note taker and keynote speaker.

You know what I’m talking about guys.

What about Pole being 10m in front of the kicker on the last tackle, not even looking at the ball, and then letting it hit him. They look Uncoached.

Low expectations and acceptances of performances like last night wont do much to make you feel better …

seems like the Knights crossed the line every time they were in our 20… had a couple taken off them ..

Our team continues to have no resolve to tough it out when things go against them… Dont know how you change this ..Even now spreading to the guys who joined the team this year

Bring in somebody that lives and breathes resistance and resilience and tell them they have free reign to crack our princesses if they’re not looking up to scratch.

Last night made me hate being a Tigers supporter, but I’d sooner hop on their backs and ride them into form (even when I’m banned from Concord) than get upset and/or take results this season seriously.

Get this ‘person’ in before 2024 and tell them that we’re expecting men by at worst, the start of 2025. Make the 8 or fold.

We cannot keep sacking coaches. Madge was sacked and we haven't improved. Sheens has bought on Bula and if he can somehow work that magic again we can improve.

We aren't getting better until we develop a quality roster and sacking the coach isn't going to improve that.

GJ, someone will chime in and tell you that B u l a are so far apart on a keyboard.
Too much effort.
J B are so nice and close together.
I don't know how we resolve this.
How about instead of just using initials we actually make an effort to write a name or even a nick name if it a very commonly used one.

You may get away with with some of those really well known 3 letter initials for some of those very long or hyphenated names but unfortunately, more often than not you have to stop and think about who it is that is being written about and quite often we then get it wrong or simply have no idea.

I think we tried that with Madge! No coach works with this mob, nothing works! Cleary got the closest then the proverbial hit the fan before the real turnaround happened and put us back to square one again. This club is in a perpetual snakes and ladders game, when we roll the dice we constantly fall on the snakes’s head.

Cleary screwed this club over as well. His roster management was as poor as I've seen. I think Madge was a good coach who was just pushing crap up hill.

We shouldn't change coaches again.

they put 66 blot on the dogs - the knights have been going ok lately and with a little luck could quite easily have won the 3 games prior to the dogs which would have had them around 5th.

You just can't just cross any road; there needs to be preparation, astute coaching and confidence in who's around you:

Not only do the fans have low expectations, but I'm also pretty bloody sure that mood has taken over the players as well. And not only the NRL team but the KOE team as well.
You are not wrong.

A few weeks ago Starford Toa was a superstar, this week making mistake after mistake and you can see how frustrated he is with his own performance and that of his team mates around him.

Junior Tupou, after looking promising earlier in the season is going backwards fast in recent weeks and looks to be playing with very little confidence.

Asu Kapoa after bulking up in the off season started off looking like he was going to go okay off the bench for limited minutes in the second row but should be no where near the wing or in the centres, which doesn't say much for Brent Naden's form if he is keeping him out of the side.

Not much point talking about our dire situation with the halves and where the hell was Benji, has he left the building, in which case I would not blame him.

How often do we let teams score against us while they have a player in the bin?
