We have a team to be proud of WT.

Next year if we can add a bit of depth to our squad, add some quality and/or experience, this side is deadset awesome. That was the only difference tonight between winning and losing. Next year we'll be a year older, a year wiser. I love what I'm seeing. Well done boys.

Add Woods, Lodge & Nofo to tonight's side & we're not far off. A couple of positive selection headaches for JT I think.

Does anyone think Rowdy might cop a suspension for his late hit tonight?

Amazing what a difference Taylor has made. The whole vibe about the place was there before the season started. His energy and enthusiasm in stark contrast to potter.

So proud of where our club is heading. It's good that they're learning these tough lessons early, it will make them better players in the future.

We have totally given it to last years grand finalists within 5 days of each other despite having the youngest team in the NRL. With a bit of luck and some good reffing we win tonight and everyone's singing our praises (even more then they already are).

We are learning the tough lessons. Our halves will learn how to close out games from now on and we will beat the top teams rather than just compete.

Heart broken but soo proud.

Don't think it was the halves fault at the end (apart from missing the field goals)
Brooks, and to a lesser extent, Moses seemed to open up so much more in attack.
Moses has a huge ticker - never backed away from all their big men coming at him, including the try saver.

That's what was said last year.. How many lessons do they need???. Back to back now… Farah just takes wrong options when pressure is on remember 2011 finals against warriors?... That was 4 years ago and he still can't play pressure footy

What do you mean they'll learn to close games out? They already know how to, they just can't execute. It's been a tough 6 days taking on last premiers and runners up one after the other…however we blew a number of chances to win last week and capitulated terribly tonight. Instead of winning one or both games, we lost both. Sorry but that does not fill me with pride nor confidence.

It was a good game in parts, but we should never have let Dogs get back into it. Still there is some positives to take away, Taylor has come a long way with this side from where we were at the end of last year.

We were all young once and made bad calls from time to time

I still think half the problem is Farah not releasing control to Brooks in those crucial minutes

I'm proud they got themselves in a position to win , I bet many didn't give us a chance

This team needs to learn to win and be confident they can win

Its going to be hard to fill you with pride and confidence when you are so full of crap

Were you expecting to win either match ? Look at the pre-game threads, the expert tips and comments and then compare it to how we played in both games. We exceeded expectations in both matches and could've won both (especialy tonight).

The fact we didn't win comes down to experience, especially tonight. Experienced halves know how to get their team home with an 18 point start and 20 minutes to go. Our halves didn't tonight but thats a lesson they will learn and hopefully apply it in future games. An example was Moses' little chip kick in extra time rather than going for yards or Brooks going for the pressure pass to Liolevavae on second tackle rather than building pressure on their line and sealing the game. They will learn though..

So far we've played 4 games.

We have won the two we should've won

And lost the two we were expected to lose despite being the better team for some parts against the defending premiers and overall against the runners up.

What more do you expect from the youngest team in the competition ?

I know everyones getting sick of the "we will be a great team soon" line but this time you just know it's true. We have a new, smart coach, our exciting spine is finally getting games together and there is a clear vision for the future with the guidance of a stable front office.

This is the year it begins. No more excuses. We should make the top 8 this year.

Hold your heads up Tigers and be proud. This was a great effort from such a young and unseasoned side. This was probably the youngest team Wests Tigers team ever fielded in first grade and the fact that the side faded in the latter part of the match can be attributed directly to the physical and mental immaturity of the large number of youngsters in the side. The team is playing with great promise which bodes well for future endeavours.

I don't know how it's possible to not know how to win a game when you've played it your entire life. Robbie needs to take responsibility out there tonight me thinks. Really happy with the effort of pretty much everyone out there tonight. Especially our halves. They were copping a pounding in defence and just kept going. Even Lawrence went ok which is a bloody miracle. Hopefully he can keep it up from now on. Wasn't thrilled with Keith. His dropped ball was disastrous.

Here we go!!!!
Let's go back and put the knife in.

To be honest, I was expecting a hammering. Instead our team with 'no depth', missing a couple of match winning players, stood up well after a five day turnaround and nearly won. I'm disappointed we didn't win but the skill is there and experience is ours to gain. Good effort Wests Tigers.

Was going to counter comment - Have thought better of it.

After the great game last night I don't want to bring myself down like you obviously have.

bitter pill to swallow last night, again we couldn't play for the full 80mins. last week took lot out of us, as it did to souths.
