We need a leader

It's obvious that we lack leadership. At other clubs sue would be embarrassed to come to training this week given he let his teammates down on Sunday. I would be willing to sacrifice any of our current pretenders for someone like James graham who would inspire some of our guys to better performances.

I'd be tempted to give the captaincy to each of the halves this year for a game each while Woods inevitably plays Origin.

Bear with me, it'd get them to perform and if the side doesn't perform, those players have to accept responsibility, as opposed to sneaking away everytime as they currently do.

A bit of accountability would change their perception. Furthermore, it could be a negotiating factor we could use in our favour.

"We see you as a potential club captain. You won't get that anywhere else…"

We're dealing with ego's here. The best way to do so is to manipulate it.

James Graham lost 36-0 to freaking Manly on Saturday.

Shh doesn't fit with the narrative…

There are lots of different ways to lead a team and raging at players and shaming them can be effective. The more it's done though the less effective it will be over time. Better to have other leadership strategies and then break out the raging occasionally when it's really justified - that way it has more impact.
