We Need An Established Halfback

Most people flipped their top when we were linked to Kimmorley a year or 2 ago, now people think he'd be our saviour if he was available.

Tim Smith is a spur of the moment player just like Marshall, Monaghan isn't considered good enough to play in the halves in England.

There's no one available who would do any better of a job than Moltzen or Lui IMO.

Moltzen seriously has it all over Lui in the halves…

now yes ,but what about further down the track

this is where we need to be careful,we dont want to let lui go and he becomes the next lockyer and we keep moltzen who only becomes a Killmorley,Orford type
i believe in the future Lui will be a better prospect, but right now im happy with moltzen in the 7

Moltzens alright in the halves but i dont no how you can say hes a genuine half??? he kicked the ball about two times in about 5 matches at half.

The best thing about him as a half which i like is he takes the line on well. Not even Benji does this as a half. Its pretty much the best asset of a half… one who can run at the line and ur not sure if theyll pass or run.

And as someone said , Lui is also a five eigth so there may be dramas there in the future. Tim Smith id sign in a heartbeat.

Moltzen kicked the ball 15 times apparently in his 5 games at halfback…. scored 3 tries, made 5 line breaks, 1 line break assist and 1 try assist.

We probably would have been better off keeping him at halfback and bringing in someone else to replace Gallant, it would be worth giving him another go at halfback, we did win the 5 games with him there, doesn't suggest that he was the reason, but the team seemed to click better.

Our halfback hasnt lost a game at 7… problem is coach doesnt wnat a winning halfback at 7 he wants a useless losing halfback for 3 years there
