Blair's first 2 games have been great. I think this will be his best year with the tigers.
Greg ingles first year with the rabbits was pretty average and now look at him.

The team need to concentrate on the basics. Hold the ball for 5 hitting it up, put a good kick, preferably an attacking one or in the corner and defend solidly. Its all about field position. We don't seem to play that kind of game. Also, can the forwrds run of Miller or Benji, getting a bit wider. How many times do I see a forward run straight at the markers. We keep turning the ball back in, its not fooling anyone. Have a big forwrd run at the 1/2, 5/8 or centres, every other team is doing that, why not us??

On the flip side. How good was Buchanins ball strip to segiaro I think it was. Good quick thinking from a junior prop. Pity Farrah handed it back in the next play the ball. I was like YES!!!!!! then I was Like No no no no no all Gus like.

Previous history suggests we won't start having a top completion rate until round 6 or 7, given the style we play and tending to give the ball a bit of air. It would be nice to cut out some of the handling errors we have when being tackled though, we're giving away 2 or 3 of those in each game so far.

Having good ball security and a high completion rate is imperative to a successful season. Unfortunately we have lacked it under Sheens and have so for many seasons now. Potter appears to be reiterating the importance of maintaining possession but will have a hard job to try and turn around the teams mindset when it comes to holding the ball. Hopefully we will see a huge improvement by the end of this season. It might just be a case of Potter just needing to persevere.

im half half atm… cant quite make up my mind

on one hand i want our forwards to run straight and hard.. smash the defender, but on the other hand i know that our backrow is so weak that if they try to do it, they will come off second best.

gotta say im enjoying the offloads as well.. just not when they work outt LOL

Blake Ayshford's one hand carry needs to stop. He needs to realise he is not SBW and just hold the ball more securely. He lost control on at least four occassions through lack of a sensible carry. UNACCEPTABLE. Potter needs to lay down the law and hook him if it continues.
