We SHOULD smash NQ

Even though our execution in attack has been fairly lackluster lately, I still see us beating these guys by a big margin. The attack has been promising, and I think this is the perfect game to show our potential and restore some confidence in attack.

I suppose any win in this comp good, but please, you can't tell me we can't total at least 30 against these guys, can you? To add to this, their record away from home is pathetic, they are at their most vulnerable when they play away from home.

Also, watching some of their games lately, their defense is absolute junk. A disinterested Melbourne team totaled 58 against them, why shouldn't an in form Tigers side total something like that? Seriously, their outside backs cannot tackle, Thurston is courageous, but is just a speed bump in defense.

What do you think, should we total a big score here?

It depends on tonight, but I actually think they are going to find their long lost form tonight against an Eels side that is playing very ordinary.

The Cows have a quality side on paper - Thurston, Bowen, Payne, Scott, Tonga, Mason - these are all rep standard players - and they should be doing a lot better than they are at the moment.

Nah, Parra should smash 'em, so should we

The Cowboys are under performing this season but they won't simply roll over and die, just as the Warriors proved yesterday. I'll take a win even if it's only by 1 point again.

These are the big danger games, coming up against a under performing team playing with nothing to lose style football. The cows are very capable of putting a big game together. I would prefer to be playing a top eight team, you know what your in for, with the cowboys anything is possible

so will I. they are due for a good performance. I 😛ray: its not against wests-tigers
under estimate them and wests-tigers will be on the wrong end of the result and leaving the field looking like this
.
limit any opportunity that thurston has.
have someone on him all night, he will eventually become frustrated, and force his hand which will result in errors

Geez, you blokes are pessimists, this is a team who has consistently performed badly on the road for 5 years, what makes you think they're gonna pull off some 'upset' victory against a team who has a great record against them.

If we don't beat these guys by AT LEAST 20, we should hang our heads in shame

Until the game has been played then it hasn't been won. Assuming a victory is dangerous thinking.

Yeah, I'm sure the Tigers are thinking that way, but as a fan I must admit I'm very confident we can pile on the points and win convincingly, but I suppose you never know with the WT's :unamused:

just about to make the same thread.. parra have no attack and are smashing them.. we should win by 40 plus at home

only thing that worries me is their due for a win and where due for a loss… but we should smash them if where any chance at the 8 and top 4

Lol.

Out of form Parra: 30

Full-strenght Cowboys: 12

30 left, Parra should get 50 there

LOL….''should" doesnt always occur.

36-24

A Cowboys side with nothing much to lose, throwing it around like they did tonite could present a problem for us....if the passes stick.........

I'm hoping that this is the game that will play our attack into form. 😛ray: 😛ray: 😛ray:
will be really satisfying to come away with a good win with a healthy margin at Leichhardt on my birthday weekend. it'll top off my birthday night lotto win on saturday night nicely. :wahoo:

Ironically Arana looked one of their best and scored a nice try on debut.

I can't understand how he never got a start with us.

Our defence should be better then Parra. If we complete our sets we will smash them. 😛ray:

Yeah…odds say a team will win a few each year, despite form. How many have the Cowboys lost on the trot??
The bit of the game I watched showed the Cowboys with very disorganised attack.

The last thing i'd be suggesting is a thrashing in the offing. Okay, it may happen but the Cowboys aren't going to roll over for us and let us win. We put the hard work in and yes we should win but nothing is guaranteed.
