It’s because we have shown no ability to not kick it dead. Handing it over 5m out in the corner is a much better outcome than giving the a 7 tackle set from the 20m line which we were doing more often then not

I’m guessing they figured 2 points wasn’t going to mean much when we are “ leading” the for and against points.
And they probably wanted to get the party started - 2 in a row !

On the contrarary points are hard to come by for us. We are only good at getting to the other side. Definitely take the penalty kicks and a few field goal is way better than giving rabiits 20m 7 tackle
