No excuses tomorrow, we really should hammer Penrith.

They have 10 players out, havent won at home for years, got dusted by 30 by Manly who got beat by the spooners tonite.

I cant see us losing to be honest
 
Toovey said Manly was VERY flat after Monday's game and said MNF is unfair on teams.

Well, we played Friday…..........so we have had a THREE DAY head start on Penrith.

Honestly, this should be a big win.

Hit the nail on the head regarding the no excuses part Ink. The Tigers have had plenty of time to prepare, word is they have trained the house down and despite having several injuries, the Panthers have more. If the Tigers get back to basics and control the ball, there's no reason they shouldn't win this one.
 
The last 2 years I would have been worried about this game. Them having lots of injuries, us expected to win. But I really think the boys will be switched on for a big game. Got a good feeling about today C'ARN TIGERS!!

For me this is me real 'mental' test for the Wests Tigers, there is a lot of pressure on them to win and turn their season around, the previous posts show how WTs are better off injury wise etc but that doesn't mean Penrith don't want to win as well. There will be promoted panthers who will take their opportunity as well and would like nothing better than to add a few more nails in the WTs coffin. It is up to our blokes to want to win, be exacting, concentrate and focus to build on what has apparently been a good preparation to gain a win.
 
them having 10 players out is what the worry is, this team has not learnt a thing this year and can't mentally turn up
 
This sounds familiar to the Souffs v Tigs game at ANZ last year. Souffs had plenty of quality players on the sidelines yet blew us off the park in the first half to make it something like 27-0 in the first half. The score then became somewhat respectable in the 2nd half and finished 29-18.

Today shouldn't be the case though. We should put 20+ past them, anything less is a disappointment but the win is what we need the most and at this stage i'm relieved as long as we win
 
All of the confidence in this thread is completely unjustified. They haven't given you any reason to think like this, so saying stuff like "we should win easily" is ridiculous.

Lol so its ok to use it as a reason to win….but if we lost with players out or a short turn around..it would be a excuse

You obviously haven't watched Penrith much. They are in terrible form + had a stack of blokes out.

That's why we were so confident. Honestly, we were never going to lose today.

Has you wife left you or something? Your posts lately had been negative even for your standards. Chill out a bit. Not a great performance but we grinded out a 30-0 victory despite losing one of our best players early.
