Weak leaders

This must be the 5th or 6th game this year where we have let leads slip away to a loss….while tonights lead wasnt a great one, I cant remember a season like this
Dogs, Raiders, Penrith last week, Parra tonite, one or two more I think,
THis tells me something though Im not sure what...in the past sometimes weve turned it up and racked the cue early, dont think thats happened this year.

Why cant we hang onto a lead?

Poor DISIPLINE ,immaturity and bad ref calls….does that help Ink..... :unamused:

Not entirely sure on this but i think thats a few times now we have been held scoreless in the second half?
Might come down to them running out of gas…

Last two weeks at least. Led at halftime v Panthers and didn't score in second half. Led halftime tonight and didn't score in second half. I think the Raiders at Leichhardt Oval was also a second half where Tigers didn't score.

No we didn't score in the second half because we had one set in attacking zone.

We had several sets.

Drinkwater put in two bad grubbers (one for himself) plus a forward pass to Lawrence, all 10 out from the line.

Hoeter got caught short on the 5th.

That's at least 4 sets.

There has to be a word for it but I can't pick between dumb, lazy and immature lol

In all seriousness, yesterday we lead by 2, have parra on the ropes and go for a penalty goal. No worries, Patty had missed a couple and that helps us stay ahead just before half time but I still would have taken the tap.

Second half, all Parra, we are down by two and we tap and go when we get one penalty in a string of 8 or so to the slimy eels. 3 tackles in forward pass to Lawrence from Quadja.

Can anyone see a clear logical pattern here? I can. "let's make multiple poor decisions to see if the second one cancels out the first." :deadhorse:

I think they took the first one as it was so close to half time.

I think they should have taken the second one as well and taken the scores to all square.

I'm loathe to turn this in to another JT thread, but we have been absolutely abysmal in the second half lately. Whether it's fitness, lack of concentration or lack of motivation, we just can't build on a good first 40\. I thought Halatau really tried to take the initiative and I won't bemoan the quick tap, we just needed a bit more punch from our forwards outside Ava, Lawrence and Marty.
