Weather for Sunday's game

Cloudy. Very high (95%) chance of rain. Heavy falls possible. Winds northeasterly 25 to 35 km/h increasing to 45 km/h before turning east to southeasterly 25 to 40 km/h during the day.
Large and powerful surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, swimming and surfing.

30-80mm rain expected. It's going to be a very wet won.

Matches on days like this are often won with goal kicking rather than tries. Moses is now our only goal kicker but can we depend on his goal kicking?

will be finishing night shift, coming home to a clean bed and some heat from the ducted air con….
put on the UFC, watch that for ~5 hours.... then watch us finally beat the roosters in the rain.

cannot wait

Might give it a miss given that forecast - the SFS gives you very little protection from the rain.

Will be won and lost on field position. JT should grab the tape of the Roosters vs Panthers game from Rd 7 and force our spine to watch it, A Clockwork Orange style. Soward put on an absolute clinic of a kicking game in the second half of that game to seal the win for Penrith.

So I wonder the makeup of the bench now. Considering the track will be heavy Farah Woods back to bench with Balin and Grant/Sue to start.
JJ or Lovett to come in for Halatua maybe.

Good day to stay home if you can. Finishing work at 2\. Straight home, shower, throw on some warm, comfy trackie pants, chat to the kids and my BH while he prepares Sunday dinner, check that the wood fire's blazing, grab a drink, retire to the lounge, put the telly on and….
Let's hope we get the win!

Apparently expecting 80 mils on Sunday ..like biblical proportions! Might need an ark.

Let's hope Moses can part the roosters defensive line & lead us to the promised land.

:sign:

A performance in the wet like the one v Manly at Leichhardt from a couple of seasons ago should get the job done

I agree, take the penalty shots for goal. 😛ray:
At worst if you miss, kick the ball dead, and get it back from the drop put.

Glad it is not one of our home games at LO or Cambo. Not sure if the conditions will hinder us more than the chooks

Going to be shocking this weekend. Toss a coin as to who will win this one. Tactically we need to take the chooks on through the middle and offer close play support. Players from both sides will be slipping over everywhere I reckon. Good kick chase will be vital.

There was an NRL player named Noah but forget where now - but wouldn't a Moses parting the waters - as often does anyway - bring home kosher bacon.

He is not that bad at all, I remember about 2 months ago he was surprisingly good. I would have almost happy to see him in SOO on one of his good days - he may have even kicked that missed goal.
