Whats the weather like in Sydney? From coast where it's windy but rained has cleared for last couple of hrs

I checked with people at mascot about 15 minutes ago, sent me back a picture of blue sky but said it is verrrry windy.

Toupe wearers would be well advised to stay indoors

Bummer, I'd better stay home then

Looks like goal kicking will be at a premium. Lyons really struggled up here last night and he is a good kicker. Let's hope the wind is less vicious in Sydney, otherwise we'll have to score 15 tries to win!

The SFS is pretty good for keeping big winds at bay. It won't be as bad as the U20's game currently in progress at Parra stadium. One team is getting 60m on the dropout, and the other is struggling to get 40m.

Dunno where you get that from, was there one sunday arvo a few years back, blowing a gale, we tried all 4 corners of the joint trying to find a still windless seat….doesnt happen, winds get in there and swirl round like mini tornadoes

IF not to late, was a blue sky now clouds are moving in looks like there will be some rain and heavy wind so get an umberella/rain coat incase.

Fairly blowy at the Dogs game there, the flags up top were going crazy, the flags on the goalposts were dead still.

Haha i froze at the dogs game. Had tickets right up front and it started to rain abit luckily it held off until after the game.

I took my 5 year old son and two nephews (14 and 11) to their first ever games. We were all wearing thermals, ski jackets and beanies. We got there about 6:45 and it started raining about 5 minutes before we got to the ground. We were sitting under cover, but the wind was still blowing the rain in. The goal posts were wobbling all over the place.

Still, we had a great view of the 2nd half comeback, as we were in line with the goal line on the left side. I saw Benji's flick pass for the last try so clearly that I was just laughing myself silly.

And despite the cold, we all had a great time and my son can't wait to go again…
