Just looked at the Bureau Of Meteorology site,
Looks like its going to be
Min 19, Max 24 being partly cloudy and isolated showers.

Hope the rain holds off 😛ray: , nothing worse then everything being wet , especially at a suburban ground..

After the summer we have had, I don't know what the chances of having a sunny Sunday afternoon is…

Flood alerts on the Hawkesbury are in place for Wednesday and Thursday. A very large and slow moving cloud band is sweeping across and it's expected to dump 100mm of rain across Sydney on Wed/Thurs. Could be a heavy track on Sunday if there's no sunshine on Saturday.

According to the BOM:

Sunday 4 March

Summary
Min 19
Max 25
Shower or two.

Sydney area

Partly cloudy. Isolated showers. Light winds tending northeast to southeasterly up to 20 km/h during the evening.

Update , 11pm on Tuesday ..

Min 21
Max 28

A few showers

Sydney area
Partly cloudy. Scattered showers. Winds northerly averaging up to 25 km/h becoming light during the afternoon.

Well looking at the weather in sydney at the moment, it seems the chances of rain on sunday are high. Definatly would suit the sharks if it does, as our major advantage over them is in the outside backs and obviously the rain will affect our ability to spin the ball wide as much as we would like. Also wet weather football usually becomes a battle of the kicking games which is one of Carneys weapons. Having said all that though i think our forward pack is now good enough to win us the game particularly with a backrowers running good lines close to the line.

Sydney has had heaps of rain over the last 3 - 4 months , boys would have trained in it loads of times , probably more than in the past couple of years , i think we will be ok , sheens is a very good operator

Alf I reckon the one club I wouldn't want to play in the bog would be the Sharks

They demolished the Saints when the Saints where virtually unbeatable on a Monday night in similiar conditions last season

If you can believe the weather buffs we will have some showers on sunday and not rain. Surely by Sunday there will be no water left in the sky anyway :unamused:

Latest from the bom:

Sunday 4 March

Summary
Min 21
Max 27
Rain at times.

Sydney area

Cloudy. Rain at times. Winds north to northeasterly averaging up to 25 km/h becoming light during the afternoon.

How is the ground holding up? Any word from a club official?

Only asking because I went to the Rorters game last year after a light shower and parts of the hill were closed. Is it possible similar measures will be taken for this match?

There are a few things I enjoy when they are wet but the hill on Sunday wont be one of them. Get on the Sharks for the emotional hedge. Go the Magpies

Magpies are not playing, however the Wests Tigers are…..

They may reschedule the 20's????
Was State Cup scheduled for Sunday, Im guessing not or a 9/10am-ish kick off

I live about 10 mins from Leichhardt and we haven't had any heavy rain all week. They keep saying heavy rain tomorrow, every day! Today has seen the most rain, hasn't stopped all day, but it's only light to moderate at most. Kul might have a better idea, as he's alot closer to LO.

Ink, BRET are playing tomorrow at Concord Oval.
