One of my greatest memories as a kid was Lidcombe Oval.........I was there that day on the 'Biketrack'......just thought I'd share....

Oh and sliding down the hill on cardboard.......what happened to that......????

YEAH AND THEY CALLED SOUTHS PRIDE OF THE LEAGUE.PFFT PLEASE WHAT OTHER TEAM COULD COMPARE TO THAT ATMOSPHERE.

quite a few times was able to go onto the bike track.
most memorable one was the game against parra in '78.
full house that day and wests had a great win.
as a 14 yr old at the time, the best roar of all I remember was when wests beat souths in '78 in the last home game of season. wests won that day and won all 11 games at lidcombe that year.
