Saturday, February 20, at 7pm, against the Sydney Roosters.
Saturday, February 27, at 7pm against Brothers (Bundy Cup) at Penrith (venue to be confirmed).

WA Reds will play Balmain in round 1 of the SG Ball as a curtain-raiser to the Dragons v Eels trial in Perth on 14 Feb. Worth the trip down whatever the grade!

Not that I saw. Although so many new faces on the BRET team, I am still getting used to who is who. Blake Lazarus had a run in the last 20 minutes at halfback.

And how did he go? Has he bulked up much after training with FG during the off-season?

He didn't dissapoint at all. Ran hard and made impact driving them back. Too bad everything else didn't gel with the team to get the win. I left the game pretty dissapointed but now that I am reflecting on Gower's game he played well. Size looked the same to me.

Lazarus played around 50mins. Came off due to a knock to his knee, went up the sheds to have it checked out..
