Wests Campbelltown Leagues Club pulls out of WT

I'm pretty sure this is no cause to panic after the NRL were stepping in to help restructure the Wests Tigers. I guess this is step one.

After Ashfield buys Balmain share later this year

When was this confirmed?

Was mentioned in April. Once a value of WT shares is determined by independent audit then Ashfield will take control of one seat on WT board until Balmain can meet its $$ obligations.

Even more power to Wests Ashfield. Don't worry people, our future is safe.

Doesnt Campbelltown have greater Cash & Property Assets, or is that inner west site at Ashfield worth a motza?

I think Ashfield is killing it, and they have for years. Asians love their gambling and this club has benefited alongside the Bulldogs leagues club.
Q. Even though Balmain are in debt, don't they have assets outweighing their debt.
And another thing, why don't Balmain transfer all their pokies to Wests Ashfield and rebrand the club Wests Tigers. I know it's easier said than done, but then Campbelltown leagues for Magpies juniors and say Ryde Eastwood for Balmain juniors.

Why dont Balmain transfer all their pokies to Ryde Eastwood ( which you cannot do ) and rebrand Ryde Eastwood Leagues as New Balmain Leagues….leave the big money at Wests Magpies alone ..

Mate Bankstown sports club is buying out all struggling clubs within the area, closing the smaller clubs down and taking the pokies with them.

Thats right…if you buy the club you get the pokies..you cannot just transfer to another club. Thats why Ryde should buy balmain and be the No 1 club in the balmain area...and get the pokies.

Ryde Eastwood take over balmain that way we have all base covered Ashfield , ryde Eastwood and Campbelltown.
Ashfield major backer of wt and make Campbelltown and balmain sponsor and do the junior league thing.

Announcement from Wests Campbelltown:

So they have pulled out of the Wests Group and now want to be a sponsor. Could it be possible Wests Tigers get more financial input this way?

Could Cambo get more home games if WLC toss in more dosh?

If as reported they're able to kick in more cash, and are a sponsor, you'd have to assume they'd expect a return on investment with more patrons, logically this means more games.

Further, if they worked a deal with the Campbelltown Council contributing as well, the argument starts to become compelling for Wests Tigers.

Throw in a competetive team, (which is where we are heading) that equates to bigger crowds, more members for WTs.
Everybodys happy, WLC, WTs, Cambo Council

No reason why it cant work
