If Taylor sticks to the Taylor ball game plan it will be the end of his career a the Wests Tigers and hopefully he will be terminated early. If he puts a team on the park that plays positive footy we have a chance this year and Taylor may even get a contract renewal.
I don't think he is so stupid to actually believe the line that you are selling. If he is good riddance.
Its a bit hard to get them to play positive football if they have little knowledge of the NRL gameplans in defence and attack ..JT is trying to show a very youthfull group of players what NRL is all about…I really cant understand your viciousness toward people on the forum that are trying to explain it to you.As supercoach said earlier it takes a lot of time and hard work to get it right..
I can't understand your delusional theories on JT and his game plans last year. The truth is he had a terrible year and came up with terrible game plans for a significant period of the year.
I'm hopeful he has learnt from his mistakes and doesn't make those mistakes again.
Its like any leadership role , eventually you need to find out your employees strength /weaknesses and limitations are
Defensively they needed to be tested to see what they could / couldn't achieve
sometimes they can prove more hardy and handle stuff you thought was totally beyond them
I accept that Taylor stuffed it last year but he was learning. I get it. It's also painfully obvious that it wasn't about testing the players or being part of a longer term plan. Taylor stuffed up. It happens and it's not the end of the world.
@cochise said:See what a lot of people fail to understand is that "Taylorball" was never going to be a long term strategy. So we won't be sticking to it, it was never intended to be employed long term.
Yep. Of course. Taylor deliberately lost games because it was good for us and good for his coaching career.
In all seriousness let's just all pray that Taylor has more sense than some of the comments that have been used to justify "Taylorball".
