The 2013 Wests Tigers squad will kick off their pre season training campaign with access to the latest in health and fitness equipment thanks to a new partnership with Box HQ.
>
The players will have numerous training sessions at the gym, based at 97 Queens Road, Canada Bay giving them use of the largest cross fit space in Australia.
>
With 16 treadmills, four power cages, two rooms that cater for a variety of classes including cross fit, boxing and spin, Box HQ is the one stop shop for well being and performance.
>
NRL Coach Mick Potter said that the Club’s alliance with Box HQ works for a number of reasons.
>
“Box HQ is a local facility that is probably used by a number of our Members and fans so it is a really good fit for us,” he said.
>
“More importantly it’s a superb gym which will give the squad access to state of the art training equipment and facilities.
>
Box HQ partner Chris Exarhos said that he was delighted to be involved with a Club like Wests Tigers.
>
“It’s great that our local Rugby League team, the Wests Tigers, will be down here training and using our gym. It’s a good local feel and I hope that our clientele will enjoy rubbing shoulders with the team too,” he said.
>
“We have a number of different aerobic classes that will attract a cross section of people whether they are fitness fanatics, professional athletes or just casual trainers.
>
Exarhos also confirmed that Box HQ was working on some special offers for Wests Tigers supporters in the coming weeks.
