Wests Tigers has capped off an amazing week in the commercial field by today announcing two new major sponsorships for season 2011.
On the back of last week’s three-year back of jersey sponsorship announcement with Hyundai, Wests Tigers have now secured eGlobal as their lower back of jersey sponsor and Australian Power & Gas will appear on the back of shorts. The new sponsors will feature on tonight’s playing strip.
eGlobal is an IT services company providing technology based business solutions that meet the strategic objectives of their customers. EGlobal has signed a two-year deal with Wests Tigers.
Jonathan Webb, Director of eGlobal, said the strong work Wests Tigers do off the field was a major reason in his company supporting the Club.
“Wests Tigers are the perfect fit for us as they are one of the few Clubs out there who really look to make a positive difference in the community,’’ Webb said.
“We all know that they are a successful team on the field but we also know they’re successful off it too and we’re happy to be associated with a Club that’s clearly going places.”
Australian Power & Gas have signed on with Wests Tigers for the 2011 season. The company also currently sponsors the Gold Coast Titans, Richmond Tigers and the Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers.
James Myatt, CEO, Australian Power & Gas, said his company was delighted to be associated with the Club.
“Wests Tigers are an exciting team with great prospects this year,’’ Myatt said.
“Australian Power & Gas is expanding into the NSW energy market and Wests Tigers were the obvious fit with their large supporter base and excellent TV audiences.
“We look forward to providing Wests Tigers fans and the NSW market in general with great energy offers. We will announce a number of great supporter promotions in coming weeks, which will provide outstanding value for Wests Tigers Members and fans”.
Wests Tigers CEO Stephen Humphreys said the new sponsorship deals highlighted the tremendous commercial value of the Wests Tigers brand.
“We are delighted to welcome eGlobal and Australian Power & Gas to our family,’’ Humphreys said.
“Both companies are renowned in their field for their innovative approach to business and we look forward to assisting them in achieving their commercial goals.”
