Looks to be streets ahead of anything else in the NRL and probably anything else in Australia.

Better than Penrith's?

Ours has a Wests Tigers logo on it so yes.

Is it true the facilities come with bidet toilet seats?

Would be a worthy investment if they help flush the crap out of the club.

Now I understand the hesitation around signing / not signing Chee Kam.
Initially Maguire was of the belief that the BOE was going to be up and running by the start of preseason and therefore had no need for Chee Kam.
Since the move to the bubble and the increasing pressure from COVID being placed on the build it looks as though we might need to retain the team Barber at least until mid way through the season.
A mid season trade might be possible once the BOE is up and running.

Only in the Barber

It is with great pleasure that I open the Panteli (Lee) Hagipantelis centre of excellence.

Unfortunately due to our short history we don't have anyone single individual who has gone above and beyond the call of duty.Persons of note Tim Sheens,Benji Marshall John Skandalis to name a few as we don't have any standout individuals I would suggest that it just be known as The West Tigers COE (with its own logo) and the different sections be named after ex players and /or officials

Do we move in before the season kicks off next yr?

At this stage right around the start of the season, but I think current restrictions may impact on that.

Ok. Thanks mate

We are going to need a new roster and coach or to rename the place. The current mob have no link to excellence whatsoever

Maybe when this centre of excellence is complete then we can attract some players who want to be part of our future

Great news if true.

If this is the money Justin Pascoe bid for it is a job very well done. Imagine the boost to junior development in our region with this money. Kids being able to stay in the (I assume) Macarthur district and train at hi tech and modern facilities will not only put us on a level playing field with clubs like the Panthers but hopefully will arrest the drain of talent to other clubs.

True - only problem is they will need to get a train and two buses to Concord for training.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think that players and staff don't put a heap of stock into the quality of facilities

Agreed, this is the modern day footballer were talking about. Most get offended by not getting their way 24/7, just imagine what they think about training from demountable's.

The demountables wouldn't be a problem, as there is a reason for them. The old facilities though would definitely have been an issue.

Sheens won't recognise the place when he returns... lol

First job back will be to re-arrange the gym equipment.

I used to take my son from central coast to Newcastle for training, others had to drive to Sydney clubs, it’s what you do, no big deal imo.

I think they're building an academy in the Macarthur area not on the same scale as Concord but for the talent to train together
