I’ve been watching the game long enough to not pay attention till they hit first grade. If I had a dollar for all the names of juniors I have heard people get excited for over the years, I’d be a millionaire

Begovich, John Grant, Matt Groat, just to name a few. Don’t get me wrong, not death riding the kid, I hope he becomes the next Tedesco. But I’ll reserve my judgement.

Like what I’m seeing from this NSW cup team announcement. For the first time in years we have demonstrated a clear promotion path for our talented juniors. 6/9 T&T have come from Jersey Flegg from inside the club whilst a further 6/8 NSW cup awarded contracts were continuing on from last year or promoted from Jersey Flegg also.
Throw in Lamkin’s promotion to continue the development and progression from Flegg to Cup. I finally feel confident we have a strong junior system underway.

Same. I like the direction we are going. Ideally everyone in that squad should have the talent within them to play at NRL level. For some of them this might be years away. Others like Madden , Simpkin, Simpkins ect. It might only be six months away. Others like Garner and Liddle might rotate in and out of NRL and NSW cup due to form and injuries.

Prop/lock, played his juniors at Campbelltown City Kangaroos, was a standout in schoolboys footy for Westfields sport also.

Looks like he played in the halves for Harold Matthews in 2019 too. Got the ball skills, talent and game awareness to go with his role in the forwards. Seems like he could be a good option at lock moving forward!

Lock seems his role as he has decent hands. He was answering questions on the Everything WT Instagram today saying he was a tigers fan all his life and wants to stay at the club forever ?

Don't know what the advantage to this deal would be, other than long term stability.
