I have no issue with 2 year contracts... If they perform they'll be re- signed.... What we don't want is to be stuck with an under contract under performing playing aka Lawrence....

Agreed. I also think it's a smart in order to use mateship as a resigning incentive. Once one signs, it should encourage the others to stick together.

There might be something about the new TV deal in 2018 and an expected increase in cap too I think?
 
good stuff. just coming into his own, in a position we are thin in…as someone said after 50 games you're a real 1st grader..think it was Sheens.

So the Tigers are still in the bargain basement player market ..not thrilled at all with this news , I thought the club was moving forward in this regard but obviously not. His 4 good runs in 3yrs has paid dividends!
 
They can be extended at any time If agreeable…just because.all these.plauers.deals.end at the same time doesn't mean they have to be renegotiated at the same time.

Watch the highlight reel. He has done alot more in his 40 or so NRL games.

Just because you don't like him, don't let that cloud your judgement.

Simona's a gun , Im stoked his contract with us has been extended , rather than signing another has been like Kenny-Dowell that comes over on another pension deal like Anasta .

I really thought that signing Simona would have been a priority,don't care about Lurkers rumours,this proves he wants to be apart of the club and amongst a winning culture….
 
I thought you would be pumped Snake…..Simona has taken less to stay at the Wests Tigers than he could have got at other Clubs if the Media is to be believed....We haven't had to go out and pay overs to replace him....

Shows me the Club culture is heading in the right direction...

Disagree completely.Simona has been a gun And will continue to improve.
 
Well obviously I am alone here .. I have certainly my own views of what a gun player is . I have no doubt in my mind that this will be a bad signing in the long term.. but we all have our own opinions .
