Wests Tigers Grand Final Luncheon Awards

What I like about this article is that Robbie says he's looking forward to changing the culture at the club. They need to instil a more ruthless, disciplined culture at the club moving forward.

How would Robbie describe the current culture of the club? And, for how much of it is he accepting some responsibility? He is the club capatin, after all!

Change of culture is all about reaching acceptance and understanding of the "present culture" so that "change" can be measured.

For mine, I would like to see a culture of becoming a tough, competitive footy club for the benefit of their fans, members, sponsors and, LASTLY, for themsleves and their team mates. As a start, I'll know it's happening when I DON"T see them writing columns in newspapers, or being "stars" of footy shows or posting their tweets for examination by all and sundry.

Robbie and Benj have to lead that change BY EXAMPLE, not by decree. Shut up and get on with it!!

Yep LCA…weve seen - or more precisely - read it all before
Plenty of talk, not so much action

Didnt Humpty say Ayshfords going nowhere?
Now hes exploring options?

Yes i agree, as long as Parish doesnt get the gig i will be happy, I thought he signed with Parra & was out of the running.

Typical DT running on the same rumours until proven wrong.
They have no evidence about Ayshford.
Nothing about appointing new coach.
I don't like them giving the Parish rumour legs. They've been saying he was the favourite for weeks and that's before they even announced Sheens was axed….

Heighno summed it up best. Recognised 10 years was a long time to be at the one club, understood why things have happened and whilst looking forward to the next phase of his career will be back as a Wests Tigers fan when he is finished with football.

Class act. In fact every one of the players and admin there were. It was a great day and left me feeling confident moving forward into next year and beyond

"This is the last time I'm going to spend with my best mates (at the Tigers).

.

grow up man.

while watching the afl grand final, it was really amazing to hear the hawthorn captain say it on the big stage that sydney swans are a well respected side all across the afl. this is something no one would say about the tigers, not now at least. i hope we can turn this culture around and earn respect.
