Wests Tigers in running to sign Elijah Taylor

If Taylor wants 600g a year he is Neville no chance of coming to us even if Penrith contribute to the 600g. It would cause a revolt in the camp, blokes like Nagima,Sue and Nofo would be lucky to be on half that coin and probably less.

Do not get me wrong he would be a handy pick up, but you have to look at the big picture

The 600k figure came from a nobody claiming 'a mate heard that'. Would forget about that figure.

And no Super i reckon you'd find Noffa to be on like 350k, Sue maybe 200-250\. Sirro 4-500\. We were certainly paying overs, but other clubs were chasing our guys to push up their prices. No way is Taylor worth more than 400k a season. He's not established enough for that.

I'd add that Lio's departure would add a spot in the 25 for Taylor, otherwise Dallas Graham, Jordan Grant or Rod Griffin would be competing for it.

The lurker has reported today that a decision will be made in the next 48 hours and the Roosters are now front runners to get his signature… He said a week ago that a decision was imminent in the next 48 hrs and the Tigers were front runners. Does this guy have any idea?? I suppose if you throw enough darts eventually you'll hit the bullseye

Maybe ET watched last weeks game, that would explain the change of heart.

The Lurker would somehow manage to have a strike-rate of less than 0%

Maybe ET didn't want to be stuck in NSW cup behind Lovett and Halatau :astonished:

Would be an odd decision to join the roosters, they have a host of backrowers, Cordner, Guerra, Taukeiaho, Aubusson, Liu, Frei plus Napa also plays backrow, and there are a few other ones as well.
Where as he should walk into our run on side, if he chooses the roosters it says a lot about our club and coach.

Tim Grant only came here on the basis that the club wouldn't be employing Cleary as coach, so if that happens, we'll probably lose Grant.

That would surprise me, I don't think there is any animosity between the 2.

I wouldnt think Cleary would be this year, but maybe next year.

This is bloody hilarious a Coach and a player not even here …already has favourites...please stop it....

Heard that too but it was Goulds decision to axe him..

it was all about the money, Grant had a big contract, and they needed to release him to move forward.

The not playing him back end of the year was a long term plan to develop Latimore.

It that the same with Michael Maguire have discussions stopped because of Grant?

It was Gould's decision to axe him but it was Cleary's decision to drop him from Firsts. The info about Grant not wanting to play under Cleary this came from Tiger Torch.
