I think we need LM more than he needs us, make him an offer he can't refuse. But keep it under wraps until he has signed.

If it works out than the club management are geniuses, if it doesn't, well, we will let them know :grinning:

To tell you the truth Avo, I have no idea (I know a lot of people say that about me) but off the top of my head for 2021 - Raymond Faitala-Mariner and Jake Clifford come to mind - for FB at this stage ? and we need to cover DH if things do not go to plan. I am sure we could pick up some others - 2021 is still awhile away.

If we hold our for good buys on quality players who really want to play for the club we are looking at a quick step ladder for coming years.

Spot on.The ony thing worse than not getting a good player is throwing money away for no good reason just to sign a "name" player.It puts you into a hole for years

Billy Magoulias is supposed to be the next big thing at the Sharks.
Sign him to help them with their salary cap issues, so they can keep and upgrade Moylan.

Moylan was knocked back by the Tigers because he wanted a 4 year deal and we were not prepared to offer that..

What confused me was the reports that there was two meetings scheduled and we cancelled/didn't show/withdrew from both of them? I would imagine you'd only schedule one meeting at a time, why book a second meeting after the first one was cancelled? Why would WT or Moylan bother?

Yeah in my mind this is just another rubbish Daily Telegraph article. everyone has bought it hook line an sinker.

In the end all that happened was a player who didnt want to leave his club didnt have a sit down with another club.
