I really like listening to Adel speak. Seems like a good bloke.
Not afraid to share an opinion, but doesn't blow his top about it either. Really good perspectives on the game and team.
Compares our resources with Melbourne and Roosters. Listening to that, it's becoming obvious why we can't escape the cellar. HBG still have a Magpies bias and won't spend money...holding the club back.
He made an excellent point regarding our recruitment and need to be patient which is an area that splits us fans, but I agree with him. We shouldn't knee jerk signing the first player that becomes available with a bit of a name attached. We need to wait for the right guy to come along otherwise we are just stacking up deadwood for later.
Hasset was a good shout. Agree KPP isn't the answer (caveat being a contract around 450-500k is more reasonable). Adding a half to sit above Latu while he sorts out his injuries - no danger of leaving because he hasn't been able to string any games together. Against NQ, Talyn 9, Api 7, Jarome 6 instead of moving Douehi. He is another bloke that says Jared Haywood is a big talent and not worried if Da Silva goes. Would like to see/hear more about him.
He mentioned Vella from the dogs and he said he was going to get into it more, but the conversation went in a different way. I'd like to know the story he was lining up to tell.
